RReosha SWe had an amazing stay at this hotelâit was my boyfriendâs first time visiting Durban, and this place completely blew his mind! From the moment we arrived, the incredible staff made us feel welcome, even surprising us with a free room upgrade.
Our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean and the city skylineâperfect for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Durban. The location was unbeatable: just steps away from fantastic restaurants (we were spoiled for choice!), the beach, and even attached to a mall for ultimate convenience.
Whether youâre looking for luxury, convenience, or just a stunning getaway, this hotel delivers on every level. Weâll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

TTraveldairies.A good place to be with a beautiful view.... âThe Viewâ as its name . Closer to a shopping complex , gas station, 5min drive to the beach, closer to the beach there also restaurantswhere you can dine whole having the beach view, Toti Beach. its also closer to galleria Mall.
The place is too steep so be ready for that... Their food is delicious, we had dinner there at their restaurant called Giorgios but its expensive I must say. Not sure about their breakfast and lunch though.
Staff and reception is just ok. I had requested them to add a crib bed for a child and upon arrival they told us that the storeroom is closed because we arrived at 6pm so it's too late.
We then asked them to give us atleast a bedsheets or any linen so we can make a plan for our son, they said ok but never pitched , nothin, not even getting back to us to say what could be the matter. We asked again the following day, they took four hours to bring a bedsheets.
Bottom line is if you have a child do not, I repeat DO NOT book that place because they will lie straight to your face saying they could not reach you since you booked via an APP.
I'm not sure whetherI want to talk about their kitchen in the rooms. You will have to call them now and again to bring things and they take 3 to 4hours just for a simple thing like a spoon.
One thing I can say is they don't listen and listening means you respect your business and your clients
I flew from overseas to rest and have a good time and have treat ourselves since they have a spar but I ended up canceling my plans for a spa because I didn't want additional dissapointments.
The rest I don't even want to mention...and that is my experience after paying so much Money and looking forward to a good vacation đ BUT...

GGuest UserThis is the one of the best hotel of my trip in SA. The swimming pool is amazing and fantastic. The view is also very well.
I stayed in South Africa for 1 month and stayed in 10 different hotels. This one is really imprrssive. And I have view the best moon in my lives. I think I am even willing to cross half of the earth to stay there again. The room is not bad. But the disadvantage is the attitude of the receptionist and the professionalism of the restaurant staff are not good enough. Delayed the hotel's progress.

FFritz08I love this place. It is simple and clean. Nice they have tables and chairs outside by the pool to chill at night. Location is great! It is near Florida Rd. So this place is surrounded by restaurants. The staff is super friendly. I forgot to take photos of the room. The room is clean and I love the room design. Great value for money too! Will definitely go back.

MMsNikitaBeautiful place, it is very quiet and peaceful. I loved the sea viewđ. The room is very clean and spacious, very friendly staff, always there to help. Breakfast was very delicious, many options to choose from, this guest house is close to many restaurants and party places, this is a huge bonus, very convenient, I highly recommend. Whether you want a peaceful stay of you want to be out and about, this is definitely the right place to bookđâ¤ď¸

MMiss T.I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Umhlanga with easy access to everything. The room was lovely and super comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay.
The breakfast buffet was amazing,delicious and with plenty of options, which was a great way to start the day. However, the restaurant was way too hot. It felt like everyone was trying to grab a fan, and I honestly think they should either switch on the AC or find a better solution for cooling the space.
The pool was nice and well-maintained, and itâs heated, but honestly, it felt a bit strange to swim in a hot pool during summer. I think the heated pool would be much more enjoyable during the cooler months, like in winter. Another downside is that they close the pool way too earlyâŚ.7 pm is pretty unreasonable, especially in a place like Umhlanga where you want to enjoy the evenings.
Overall, itâs a good hotel with great amenities, but the restaurant temperature and early pool closure definitely need some attention.

BBeehâs lifeEverything was amazingâŚclean rooms, comfortable beds, specious rooms, beautiful views with a huge balcony 10/10. Iâll definitely come back here. The security and cleaning ladies were friendly. The only dislike I have is the check out time! Theyâll come knocking on your door at 10am ***!

GGuest UserIn Durban, I borrowed a conversion plug and went three times. Initially said no, the second trip still said no, but another waiter said yes, it really did. The third trip is to take a deposit to borrow the plug. The hallways on the first floor are massaged and smell very strong
