2-Star Hotels in Sunnyvale

It took about half an hour to check in. And this is not because I was waiting for someone else to check in. The manager is incompetent and extremely rude. My reservation was made by the travel team in my company. They had some disagreement around how to pay for it. I had no knowledge about this interaction. When I asked to check in, the manager told me that there's some issue regarding the payment. I gave him my card and asked him to charge it. I said I'll clear things with my company later. However, he refused to let me check in. He spent the next 15 minutes just ranting about the travel dept folks at my company. I was tired. I let him know that and asked that can we please expedite it, but he just would not shut up about it. I asked him for a ground floor room because of a back issue. I would not be able to take the luggage up the stairs. He said that there's no room available and there's no elevator either. I asked him politely once more to check again, since it's a medical reason. He said that there's no room available at all. Since it was a deal breaker, I said that I'll leave and find a different place. He then said that no, there is a room available and gave me one. The room had dirty sheets and what looked like peach pits on the carpet. Since I was tired and so exhausted dealing with him, I pulled my own sheet, put it on and slept. The next day, I asked him for the key to the locker in the room, he said that some guest might have taken it with him. So, there's no safe place for me to keep valuables like the passport. And even at that time, he looked at me as if that was an unreasonable request. When I came back from work later the second day, the fruit pits were gone, but the sheets were still dirty. There's no way I'm staying at this place again.

Everything was great. Room was clean, plenty of hot water, TV & Internet was very good. Room temperature was comfortable. The bed was perfect and warm. I slept better here than I do at home. The staff is quick and efficient. They do a great job. Thank you

Forced to book this hotel for one night, cause hotels were all fully booked on this day in Mountain View and Palo Alto, this is the only hotel that still have a few space. Now I realize why only this hotel still has some available rooms, my room has super strong cheap fragrance smell, they thought you will enjoy this odor, I had to leave window open all night. The housekeeping crew are all Hispanic women who don’t understand even the simplest English, the bathroom light switches are so complicated, hard to switch the 200W light to 100W light in bathroom, asked the housekeeping maids who happened to be around, none of them understand the words “dark, darker, too bright......” finally we went to the front desk receptionist who are also Hispanic and did the translation, she’s the only recetionist in the day shift. The toilet is broken, couldn’t flush, a repair man came to fix it, but later it couldn’t flush, it only streams very slowly. And this hotel has the check out time at 11AM. This hotel uses refillable big bottle of shampoo, shower gel, and refill them after each stay, if you don’t share using these stuff normally, bring your own.

The stay at DAYS INN & SUITS BY WYNDHAM SUNNYVALE was just such a horrible experience. When I arrived at 8:00pm, the lobby was closed and there was no one at the lobby. It had a sign that says ”We will be back in 15 minutes.” It was raining and cold so I called the number on the sign. It went to a voicemail in Spanish. I waited for 20 minutes and the desk clerk JULIO finally showed up. JULIO was very RUDE. No greeting. No apology. I asked him where I could get the free breakfast. He said ”NO BREAKFAST!” I told him that it was on the website. He just said, ”THE WEBSITE IS WRONG!” Well, if it's wrong, FIX IT! I chose this place because it had breakfast! Around 9:00pm, I had a question so I went to the lobby. The door was closed AGAIN with the same ”Be back in 15 minutes” sign. After I waited for another 20 minutes, JULIO showed up and said, ”What?” That's not how you treat customers! When I was checking out, the lobby was closed again with the sign. I've stayed in many places but this was the first time that the desk clerk was ALWAYS gone! I couldn't return the key and there were other customers trying to find the desk clerk too. I just gave the key to the maid nearby. Apparently, I see on the website that there are A LOT of customers having similar horrible experiences. The owner is responding to all reviews but they are NOT changing anything. That really tells us that they DON'T care about customers. Owner, if you are saying that you are disappointed, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I should have read the customer reviews before booking... It was supposed to be a fun trip for me but it just ruined my trip. I completely lost trust with Days Inn & Suites. I will report this to the Days Inn & Suites corporate.

The room was simple and clean but rather narrow. even after 3 years everything as expected and unchanged. Lighting on the table is still limited. There are too few deposit options. The pool was not to use because it was officially blocked. The Lord in the lobby was friendly but not helpful. We would have liked a quiet room behind and with a refrigerator.

For the boss to book, the business trip to the United States APO, it seems to be very good, mainly because the distance is very close.

Bad review, the hotel basically did not serve, let the staff go to the rounds in the morning check-out, he did not check, after the hotel staff told me that the carpet was wet, I admit that the carpet is a little wet, but not More, just a little outside the toilet, but the staff said that the room could not be sold for two days (no one lived at all, it seems that people living in the store have to live in my room, or the hotel is not living, earn some points Child?), the result is deducted 150 credits from the credit card (two days of room money), like this business, you Ctrip does not review it? Free breakfasts were pretty good. Hot items, good selection of fruit, juices, etc. Do-it-yourself waffles were easy to make and came out well. Staff was very helpful. The maids always said good morning or hello. The internet was rock solid. Never had trouble parking. Room was clean and everything worked well. Shower, TV, etc.

The hotel is very satisfied, driving past, the door is a burgerking, the surrounding costco, not far away, there is a gas station opposite, the room bed is not small, the overall room in the United States is very expensive, this motel6, I am still very satisfaction. When the checkin was given, a room number 254, next to the stairs to go to the first room, very convenient. Insufficient, the ice machine does not produce ice, and it is not good to drink alcohol without ice. The hotel is very close to Silicon Valley, and LinkedIn is also nearby. The staff are so friendly and truly do care about your needs or concerns. The beds were the best I've ever experienced at a hotel! We slept like angels, even our son slept through the night. The only downfall is the parking lot being small but there's nothing they can do about that. Definitely home away from home!
