Rann Riders

I had the pleasure to stay here on my tour of Gujarat for 3 nights. It was a flawless stay. The resort is casual but very sophisticated at the same time. My cabin was tastefully furnished. Bathroom modern. Service superb. Dining was relaxed but sophisticated with the food taken seriously. Delicious. No disappointing meal. My 2 excursions with Sammy were informative and memorable- including breakfast on the salt flats birding. And the entire staff- the Rann Riders family- were all welcoming and such a pleasure to be with. You forgot you were a guest. You were a friend. Highly endorse staying here. Excellent place to visit in monsoon and enjoy nesting season. Food was of top quality with impeccable taste and service. The staff is extremely courteous and caring. The cottages are very tastefully designed with touch of local Gujarat artisan’s work . The lakes and water harvesting is another key feature of this resort. A place highly recommended for winter season as per the staff . Would surely like to revisit

Rann Riders is a boutique resort nestled amongst wilderness in little Rann of Kutch. Clean, Chic, and Comfortably appointed modern cottages welcome you amongst the wooded wilderness. Attentive staff, and a team of Nepali chefs serving soul food welcome you!! Our family was greeted with a warm welcome by Mr Pashupati Singh Parmar and his staff. Pashupati himself was extremely attentive to our needs and requests throughout our stay! He embarked with us on a private tour to explore the wonders of Modhera Sun Temple, and Architectural splendor of Rani ki Vav step well. During our tour he quickly engaged with our family, took numerous photos, shared his passion and knowledge about the architectural wonders we were seeing . He was always a step ahead when it came to assist our mother who needed assistance for stairs and elevations. We particularly also enjoyed the nature jeep safari led by a naturalist to see the bird sanctuary, a packed breakfast spread was served a top our jeep, and where we also sighted pink flamingos and the local wild ass animal. We would highly recommend this eco friendly and organic experience at Rann Riders. We were thoroughly impressed by the sincerity of the staff and especially Mr Pashupati Singh Parmar, whose attentiveness's, compassion, spirited nature and knowledge made our sightseeing more pleasurable. He engaged us in a “king of kings” experience relative to hospitality, service and personal care. Thank you from all of us Parekh family !

A very well laid out set of cottages in a large rural property, well appointed in sobre tones. Excellent organization overall, notably of excursions. Very competent and friendly staff, managed during my stay by Pashupati Singh. Cuisine could be a little bit more varied though.

The accommodation here was simple but comfortable. The service was good, The location was also good. The food was decent as well. I could find no real cause to complain. Rann Riders is a good base to see the wildlife and birdlife of the area. I enjoyed it's simplicity.

My daughter and I had a delightful 2 day stay at Rann Riders. The room was clean and comfortable, the food delicious and the staff very attentive. Pashupati was particularly helpful, checking in with us frequently, suggesting activities and making sure we had a good experience. We enjoyed the safari to see the pink flamingos and wild asses, the beautiful garden and grounds and a nature walk on the nearby farms.

Even the parrots return to this abode ! Tastefully rustic and smells of fresh green ...... charming cottages in the vicinity of a stud farm & private shooting range. Once you get there you do not wish to leave. Charming, warm, delicious home cooked food and a fun vibe in the air. So much to explore ..... and wait for the parrots to return !

This pleasant lodge with individual bungalows is situated about 45 minutes drive from the main entry points into the nearby Little Rann of Kutch. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, set amongst a garden. The food was excellent, served by a delightful Nepali team who always gave us service with a smile. Our wildlife guide had 22 years experience and certainly knew the area well - see separate review of the park area itself.
