Beautiful place to stay - lovely courtyard and the owner is very helpful. Good recommendations, so helpful! The rooms were very nicely decorated and equipped with everything you could need. Terrace is a great place to enjoy tea :)

Beautiful terrace overlooking the canal and local restaurants. The room is actually two separate bedrooms separated by the terrace, perfect for friends traveling together or families. The owner is friendly and helpful, and can give recommendations as needed.

We had the pleasure of experiencing the amazing courtyard all to ourselves, surrounded by wonderfully spacious and traditionally styled rooms. While we initially had a bit of trouble finding the entrance, the owner kindly came to our rescue after we reached out for assistance. Additionally, we were treated to a delightful assortment of fresh fruits, adding a delightful touch to our stay. Situated in a serene location near the canal, the hotel offers a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Furthermore, the owner's warm hospitality added an extra layer of charm to our experience. Overall, it was a delightful retreat that left us feeling truly pampered and refreshed

I can hardly believe that for the same rate as a typical business hotel, we got a suite of two bedrooms with a large balcony connecting them. From the balcony, you can see a canal and lush green trees, making for a very pleasant atmosphere. It was the most comfortable accommodation of our trip. The owner was incredibly hospitable, assisting us with everything. The day we arrived, it rained from the evening until late at night non-stop, and it was quite cold. We had brought too few clothes and were not prepared to venture out in the rain for dinner. The owner kindly helped us order delivery food. I'm truly grateful for his help. Tongli has a wonderful atmosphere, especially in the early mornings and late evenings when there are no tourists. I recommend that anyone visiting Tongli should stay here for at least a night.

Friendly & helpful host, tho the journey has been tough one for me, i suggest not to bring any luggage as the road are not luggage friendly. Overall it is a good experience & place to chill and clear off your mind

Tongli is a nice quiet and calm ancient town near Suzhou. This homestay has a nice courtyard and the rooms are clean and nice.

The environment is good. I like this set of tea sets. Three or five people can drink tea and chat together. The scenic area is not large. The scenery is different during the day and at night. It is hot in summer. It is recommended to go out in the morning and at night.

The stay was good. The boss was very nice and prepared electronic mosquito coils and plugged them in. The environment is good and it is close to the water. Tongli is really nice and suitable for family travel!

It is a single-family house, so you can come and go freely without worrying about disturbing others. The terrace has a great view, just near the Sanqiao Bridge, where you can drink tea and chat, and enjoy the quiet in the bustling city. The boss will pick you up at the parking lot, prepare fruits, and carefully recommend attractions and restaurants.

The environment is very good, it feels like returning to my own yard. I met fellow villagers while traveling and had a good chat in the yard. It felt very good. The boss was very considerate and helped to send the luggage to the station. It was a very satisfactory stay.

Toiletries and razors are provided. The layout is Chinese style. Suzhou is very hot. The boss turned on the air conditioner before I arrived. It was a paradise on earth when I walked into the room. The boss gave me some fruits. When I walked into the courtyard, I was attracted by the outdoor dining pavilions. It was very pleasant to have coffee or tea under the parasols, and to eat skewers and drink at night. We took pictures of Hanfu the next day, and the boss did not charge us an hourly fee if we delayed checking out. He is a really good boss. It immediately added points to Tongli. There is a small river, a rowing boat dock, a Hanfu photography shop, and a restaurant right outside the door. It is very convenient,

Very satisfied with the B&B. The location is very good. It is close to the attractions. The owner is also very considerate. The attractions and restaurants worth visiting are marked on the map, saving a lot of detours.
