Hotels near International Mansion Pedestrian Street in Suzhou

The hotel is great - it has clean, pretty rooms, comfortable bed, the breakfast has variety and the soup noodles is especially delicious. Its location is incorrect on Google Maps but no worries, you can DiDi anywhere and they’re all close by. Shantang Street is just a 5 min walk away. The area around the hotel also has a metro, Starbucks, KFC, Macdonalds, a Family Mart downstairs and other little eateries and restaurants. The only thing is that the lifts are small and slow as they serve other occupants in the building. There is some construction going on so the ground floor lift lobby is dusty.

Got a room on the 14 level. Nice big window with good view. Really enjoy the stay at the hotel.

I took my old mother on a two-day trip to Suzhou and chose Yicheng, which was newly opened in 2023, after comparing many aspects. After the experience, I was very satisfied with this choice. The hotel is in an excellent location. Suzhou Railway Station is only a 10-minute drive away. It is also very convenient to get to other scenic spots by bus or subway. Some places can be reached on foot. City Walk is a good choice. The room was also clean and tidy, and it also had an electric toilet. The old mother was very satisfied with this, and the overall stay was very comfortable. There is also a cute little water delivery robot ^_^ The front desk staff are very good, very proactive and enthusiastic. Personally, I think it is a very cost-effective hotel.

Normal people sleep with the lights off to fall asleep at ease. This is a scientific lifestyle. However, in life, there is no shortage of people who like to wait to go to sleep. We may all think this is just a matter of lifestyle habits, and it's not a big deal. However, experts say that this is a mental illness, which is called: sleep addiction with the lights on! Turning on the lights to sleep is actually a mental illness? What is the matter? Light-on sleep addiction refers to the need to turn on the lights when sleeping at night, and can not turn off the lights in the sleep state, resulting in a bad psychological addiction to relying on lights.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Andu Hotel. Their service started from the moment we arrived in Suzhou station, up until the moment we left Suzhou. I want to thank Manager Meng who took us to the hotel from the station and gave us so many amazing recommendations to eat and visit around Suzhou. (We spoke in Chinese so it may have been easier to communicate that way, but I can’t speak for service in English.) There were so much amazing food within the vicinity of the hotel. There’s a restaurant called 鑫震源 (XinZhenYuan) right across the street from the hotel that is famous for their pan fried dumplings that’s definitely worth a try. The environment of the hotel is also very clean and well organised. The inside looks way bigger than it looks on the outside. The lobby is very modern and spacious. However there is a ramp leading up to the lobby area that may be a little steep but you only really have to go there during checkin :) Our family room had two bedrooms, each with their own TV and controls. Their facilities were also very modern; it was a smart room with stuff like switch controlled curtains. For us, we loved how their TV also had many choices for their shows, and we had access to their VIP episodes as well! Breakfast selection was also pretty good! But I was in Suzhou for the food anyways so I didn’t eat that much 🥲 There’s also free access to their laundry room with detergent provided (but you have to wash yourself). One thing to note, if you booked a family room and you have an elderly with you, you might want to notify them as rooms on level 3 are apparently only accessible by stairs, but this should not be a point to deter you away from the hotel. Just for their friendliness and impeccable service, I will definitely be back again when I return to Suzhou. My family and I loved the stay!

Located right in the middle of Shantang street which is a main tourist attraction, hotel entrance was easy to find as well. Room was quiet even though it’s right by the tourist street. Accessible via metro, but will need to walk about less than 10 minutes through a pebbled stone street - will recommend to reach slightly earlier in the day, as the street can get VERY crowded at night especially on weekends/peak periods, which will make it challenging to navigate with luggage.

The hotel room is clean and tidy, the view on the 16th floor is nice, the service of the staff is very good, the disposable slippers are very nice, and the fresh meat mooncakes and Qingtuan downstairs are delicious.

It is very close to the subway and Shantang Street. It is convenient to visit various attractions, subway, and cruise ships. I stayed in a hotel during the New Year holiday. Although there were not many people, it was still very warm. From the welcome fruits to a bowl of porridge late at night, I felt that Atour really put a lot of thought into it. The lady in the restaurant is very busy, but she still responds to requests👍🏽 Unfortunately, there is a linen room opposite the room. There was movement early in the morning, which slightly affected my sleep. The live TV broadcast was lagging. But it is still the hotel I would like to continue to choose when traveling.

The new room I was provided with was very nice and clean. The room I booked online turned out to be near the reception desk which made it a little noisy for me: I asked them if I could stay in another spare room, I was provided with a new room after discussion. Before that, I felt discriminated just because of my visa situation (I am eligible to a visa-free stay in China for up to 3 months) and one of the staff members seemed not to believe me and was treating me in a discriminative way. It was also a bit complicated as regards the laundry service arrangement. After having shared my discomfort by asking whether something was wrong, she started doing her best to be helpful. I believe we are all humans in progress and we can all learn from this situation. I would still recommend this hostel, I think it was just a one time incident. I believe being honest is good, so my honest comment is a good comment. :)
