The location is super! But the rooms is over george st, one of more noises street, specially on night. The windows doesn’t stop the sounds from the street. Moreover we are upon a pub h24 the unique in the area.. so we let you imagine the scenes by drunk people around 4am.. the room is dirty, and is super dirty the shower and the toilet. bathrooms are cleaned only once a day in the morning. Caution with to receive by sms the codes for self check in. I didn’t receive it and for my lucky the bartender of resch pub help me. Only for young.

The downside is that there is no elevator. The location is close to Haymarket and Darling Harbor, so it was easy to move around and make good use of it.

This is the worst place we stayed in this trip. There is no air conditioning in the room. You have to open the window when sleeping at night, otherwise it will be very stuffy. Even so, I woke up from the heat at night. It's very noisy with the windows open, because there are several bars downstairs, and there are garbage collectors at night. There is a loud sound of breaking glass, so the hotel also provides earplugs. The most important thing is that the bathrooms and toilets are public! I didn't see it on the hotel page when I made the reservation. I went to look for it later and didn't see it either. This is so annoying. It is very inconvenient to wash up. Especially when you get up at night, you have to enter the password when you go back to the room. You are basically awake and it is difficult to fall asleep again. The double bed is very narrow, so sleeping two people is very cramped. All in all I won't stay here again next time.

To check in, just tell the security guard in front of the bar on the first floor, and he will call an attendant over the radio and check you in. There are no room keys, so you enter a PIN number through the door.

Because he has no door. Use passwords sparingly. It is best to ask the hotel for the password at the door the day before arrival. The bar downstairs is very noisy at night. Unless you can sleep well, you can sleep with disco music🤣! Shared public restrooms and bathrooms. Need to take the stairs. But the mattress was very comfortable. There are no kettles or hair dryers. The most convenient place! Convenient to go anywhere! It’s an antique town. I like going back to ancient times. It’s best if you like old buildings. It has a strong nostalgic flavor inside. It’s the taste.

Very Good

I stayed the night before I was doing the City2Surf run as it is literally a 5 minute walk to the start line and it was a great price compared to hotels in the city. Once I had booked I received a confirmation stating that bags could not be held and check out was 10am and the code to open my door would be changed. That was a bit of a nuisance as I knew I would probably get back from the race at around 10.30/11. Thankfully I had a friend staying in Sydney so I took my bag to his hotel the night before and wore home just what I was wearing to race the next day. The room itself was very clean and tidy and well presented. The only thing I would like to see done is for them to put in a kettle with tea/coffee. It would be minimal outlay for them but would make someone’s stay just a little more pleasant. Being above the pub you obviously had noise but, honestly, for me it wasn’t that bad and I got a good nights sleep. Shared toilet and bathrooms on each floor and kept clean. I would stay here again for the race if I could secure a slightly later check out 😃

I do think Reschs is the best of the cheap beers but $9 is not cheap, so it's clear that Resch House's entire purpose is to get people to pay inflated prices for basic beer. Reminds me of when they tried to promote Fosters as a trendy young people beer during the 2000 Olympics.
