Worst "five star" hotel I stayed in twenty years. I recently stayed at Kimpton Margot and had a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Frankly I want my money back for the two night stay. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. Cleanliness: • The first room had visible stains on the bed. • The second room had long black hairs on the bed. 2. Noise: • The first room was extremely loud due to machine noise from above, making it impossible to sleep. • The second room was quieter, but there was constant noise from outside during the day. 3. Room Amenities: • The air conditioning in the second room was problematic, making the room ice cold regardless of the set temperature. 4. Breakfast: • The breakfast selection was extremely limited, with the buffet offering only croissants. Overall, my stay was very disappointing. I hope management will address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

Overall our stay in Kimpton is amazing! Good hospitality, cleanliness, good front desk services, quick check in/out. Room is clean and wonderful, have the room ipad for us to choose amenities, room yoga class and etc. Love the mini bar, shoes and everything in kimpton! Definitely will come. Back again

Twin was very spacious. Travelling for work and was economical to share, including breakfast. Excellent sized room, decent in-room dining options and quality. Beyond expectations for a la carte breakfast, really smooth coffee. Gym was very well equipped, with light refreshments and storage available. Staff helpful, jovial, patient and friendly. Lovely, heritage building close to light rail and either end of Sydney CBD.

Stylish & Comfortable Great to have a non classical hotel in Sydney CBD! The hotel was celebrating its grand opening during our stay, so very new. Service and setting (specially in Lobby) still need to be fine tuning.

I stayed on the first floor on the first night. The windows were all covered with frosted film and the dim light was extremely uncomfortable. After communication, it was better to move to the 4th floor the next day. The cleaning was not timely and not clean. I had to send 2 bath towels three times, but they still didn't arrive after more than half an hour. There are only Western pastries for breakfast, which I personally find very unpalatable.
