"After a 12hr flight the last thing you want to do is self check in! I can not beleive a 5 star hotel with a name like Shangrila is now using self check in terminals so impersonal. The concierge guys were excellent and they only real people I got to engage with. Room is dated but Harbour views are fantastic. We did not have breakfast due to early morning flight the next day. Note: Steep 7 minute walk down to the harbour not good for elderly people The indoor pool was poor with a heavy chlorine smell not what I was expecting so I did not swim in it. I am a member but probably would not stay here again. By Contrast the Shangrila in Chendu China was very nice. Aslo have stayed a number of times in Surabaya both are dated but beautiful service & facilities"

"My second stay at this hotel, and it was as good as the first. Excellent friendly service, very clean well-equipped rooms, and an outstanding location just 2 minutes walk from Green Square train station. Again the only negative was that the room didn’t match the app photos, being much smaller than what the app photos show for the Max Queen room. The hotel should use accurate photos. But overall, excellent value for money, and I look forward to my next stay."

"Our living experience in the Hotel was great. The upgrading service in pent house provided a great view of the surrounding areas with a part of Darling Harbour. The house is so big which let us have a very good rest. The facilities in house are sufficient. The room attendant was very helpful and pleasant. Almost everythings are brilliant, just two things need to improve. One is the drainage and the water supply is not stable in the bathroom. Second thing need to pay attention to is the bathroom door in the bedroom should be changed to the material that can block the sunlight to let the guests sleeping deeper."

"Great location, really close to the central station! Room size enough for a family trip. The shower water is not warm enough at the first night stay but this is fixed the following day. Overall good experience to stay here."

"W Sydney is the best hotel among the all I have visited in Australia so far. Almost everything is perfect, food, services, location, facilities, swimming pools, all of them! If I have to pick one thing which is not excellent, is that the previous customer left some finger prints on the TV that wasn't being and some dust in air you can see while turning on the lights in the walk-in.  Otherwise, best in the best!"

"This hotel was amazing and location was perfect. Within a ten minute walk you could tour the main attractions like the opera house and the cruise ships. You could also walk the opposite way and enjoy many eateries and local spots giving you the Aussie vibe."

"Staying in Fullerton Hotel is a wonderful experience. Hesitating between the Fullerton Hotel and the Four Season，finally here we are. Half an hour was spent on the way to the hotel from Sydney International Airport by train，which is in the vicinity of St James Station. Greeted by professional concierge and receptionist，the check in was less than 5 mins. 1 dollar was deducted from card as deposit. The room of 40 square meters was really big for two person. Mini bar was filled with different kind of drinks. Bed & sofa was soft and cozy. Room service was available via a black i-pad on the table，paid by either cash or card when checking out. Sydney Opera House & Hyde Park was nearby，together with other luxury stores. The room price was friendly during off-season，which will definitely double when the new year come. Haven’t tried the Four Season yet and can not give any comments，but Fullerton experience was truly nice and worthy."
