Hotels Near Cape Pearl in Taichung

The hotel is right next to Taichung train station and Tarako mall which both have food court with many food options. There are buses around the station can take you anywhere around Taichung including Sun Moon lake. The buffet breakfast was good with mainly Chinese/********* food options. We stayed in a family room which was just big enough and had space to be able to open our suitcases. The staff were very polite.

The hotel's location is perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Situated in the heart of the city, it's within walking distance of major attractions, restaurants, and shopping centers. The convenience of the location made it easy for me to explore the city without the need for extensive transportation.

Building is still new & well maintain. Good location: close to train station (Taichung Train Station. Pls note: This is a local train station, you can need to take this train about 3 stops, in order to reach to Taichung Highspeed Rail Station), This hotel also close to shopping malls (Taroko mall, Lala port mall), a lot of eating place around the area. I have got my room upgraded (Thank you). Staying for 2 nights. Travel to other places like Taichung night market & Mitsukoshi shopping mall will need to take bus. It's worth it to go these places, just use google map. Good facilities: Hotel provide laundry machine and dryer, which is really useful to wash my clothes after few days travel from other cities. Hotel provide free coffee/hot chocolate drink, especially while waiting at lobby / do the laundry. Hotel provide also a good basic breakfast. Overall good experience and will stay again at this hotel if ever come to Taichung next time.

Booked through Ctrip's new user discount, the VIP king room is priced at 3061 per night on weekdays. The hotel is located on Taiwan Avenue, which is a traffic artery in Taichung City. It is very convenient. It is about 10 minutes' drive from Fengjia Tourist Night Market. The room is decorated in a classic style. The bed is moderately soft and hard, and I find it comfortable and easy to sleep in. The swimming pool saunas are open, and reservations are required before using the saunas. The breakfast menu is rich, including Taichung's special fried noodles with Dongquan chili sauce. The freshly squeezed juice is delicious. My boyfriend who lives with me also likes the breakfast dishes. Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taichung is considered a five-star hotel with a high CP value in Taiwan. Although the building and equipment have a sense of age, they feel that they have been carefully maintained. I will visit again next time I come to Taichung!

One of my favourite hotel!! Breakfast is very nice with a lot of options to choose. Love that there is TV in the toilet. The room is spacious for 4 adults. The downside is that the hotel is in the middle of the road. So it is a bit hard to cross the road if there is a lot of car driving pass.

離台中車站很近，房間空間挺大的， 為了環保沒有提供除浴巾外的備品， 需自備或和櫃檯購買（一樣10元） 無車位，若開車來的，可以在附近嘟嘟房停車場停車或路面停車格停車。 服務人員很親切，因為是春節入住退房時還送了大樂透和住宿優惠券，分送喜氣挺有心的。

its ok for a short stay. location is good.. the train station is just across the road. would recommend for a short stay. the room is okay.

The breakfast at the Carlton Hotel really amazed me. Even my Evergreen flight attendants said that the richness of this breakfast beats the Evergreen Laurel Hotel in Taichung. There are many choices of salads and fruits, including natto, cooked food and steamed snapper. It is rich, diverse and nutritious, and it is really satisfying. I will stay here again for breakfast next time🤣🤣🤣 In addition, there are really many Japanese tenants in this hotel.

I thought this is an excellent hotel based on the price they charged, although the facility is quite old. By the way, the breakfast provided is really good for Chinese passengers since most of the residence overnight is from Taiwan, **************, and also Great Asia. I believe this is a hotel for the visitors with strict budget limitation.

Service at its top! If not counting the view is totally blocked, it is a great for either short or long term, good location, only 5 minute walk to SOGO, Park Lane or National Museum of Natural Science. It is hard to be in a bad mood surrounding by all theses.
