"Great location right outside Taichung Railway Station, with Taroko Mall just across the way. We were supposed to stay three nights, but due to the typhoon the hotel kindly let us extend without any hassle. Comfortable room, helpful staff, and very convenient overall. Highly recommend!"

"Hotel is in a very convenient location. It was clean and the rooms were comfortable. Service staff was helpful. The lightning in the room was single controlled so if you have twin sharing, one switch turned on lights in the room for everyone. Would be nice to be able to control lights for one side of the room ( i.e. the reading light etc..] ."

"The check in was unnecessary complicated, accompanied by lenghty emails. There seem to be too many rules. It was almost impossible to use the expresso maker at the reception, as there were no cups provided, with the instructions that the hotel tries to be eco friendly and we should use the cups in our room. I was on the top floor so going up to get a cup and then having to return it was just impractical. The room was quite noisy, as it is next to the main Boulevard and even facing towards the side street."

"Was assigned to stay at room 1010 at level 10. The corridor was smelly (rubbish smell), but within the room was ok. However, I slept at the side of the bed nearest to the entrance, and occasionally was smelly. Hotel breakfast is not great, prefer to eat out instead. Within walking distance, there’s coin laundry and laundry shop at relatively cheap price. There’s also a family mart and breakfast shop nearby too. Overall not too bad except for the smell."

"The hotel is very centrally located and you won't have any trouble finding good food or shopping venues. It's also very close to the train station and the bus station to Sun Moon Lake. For me it was perfect. The lobby is also gorgeous and well-designed, very clean and overall appealing. The personnel is friendly. My initial room was clean and very comfortable and had a fan in it additionally to the AC. Unfortunately there was pretty obvious water damage as water was dripping from the ceiling and running down the wall which actually got worse by the hour. It was after a typhoon so maybe that had something to do with it. I went to the reception and told them about it and they were very accomodating and gave me a different room. It was pretty obvious that they didn't care about water literally running down the wall, though, and I think that's odd and damaging to the room and hotel. The new room had some water damage, too, but it was less severe so I didn't bother getting another different room."

"I booked a double room for this solo trip! The room was spacious and reasonably priced, and even had a small balcony! I think it should be fine for two people. There's a small balcony. The location might be a little easy to miss the turnaround if it's your first time there. Those who, like me, aren't good with maps might need to be careful! The accommodation provided detailed instructions, so you won't have trouble finding the entrance. No slippers were provided in the room, so you'll need to bring your own!"
