Royal Park Hotel Takamatsu

This is a typical Japanese hotel, rather small rooms, but clean and comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff, and we had access to the lounge where we had breakfast each day and drinks and snacks in the evening. There was a choice of American or Japanese breakfast cooked to order, as well as juice, tea or coffee and a small selection of fruit, cereal and pastries. The room had no air conditioning, only heating when we were there in April so became very stuffy at night. We could open the window but there was a lot of noise from the street, traffic lights, level crossing, general traffic noise, especially at the weekend. We had to use the loop bus from the station with our luggage as it is a good 20 minute walk. The ferry pier and Ritsurin garden are about the same distance. On the way back to the station we got a taxi. However, it is very close to the 2 main shopping arcades and there are plenty of restaurant choices nearby.

Hotel Hanajyukai

I love this hotel! It may have been because I ended up in a corner suite with a hinoki onsen, which was one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever had, but also because of the incredible location and the kind and diligent staff made this place a truly great experience. The food was terrific and since I was there three nights they went out if their way to insure I had a unique meal each breakfast and dinner. Many hotels in japan boast onsen but Hanajukai’s water isn’t treated or diluted, no chlorine smell and a wonderful, soft mineral feel. I’m a picky traveler who’s been around the world and have stayed at some of the top rated 5 star hotels but my experience at Hanajukai is one I will hold close to my heart.

A Delightful Stay at JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu I recently had the pleasure of staying at JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This hotel, conveniently located next to Takamatsu Station and offering breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea, combines comfort, luxury, and exceptional service in a way that makes it a top choice for both leisure and business travelers. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the hotel’s elegant exterior and welcoming atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, handled by friendly and professional staff who made me feel right at home. Their ability to converse in multiple languages was a notable plus, especially for international visitors like myself. The room I stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, well-appointed, and featuring a contemporary design, it provided a perfect blend of functionality and comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of the room was the panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea, which was especially stunning at sunrise and sunset. The room also included modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked minibar. The hotel’s dining options are another aspect worth highlighting. I had the opportunity to dine at several of the on-site restaurants, and each meal was a culinary delight. The breakfast buffet at “The Dining” offered a wide variety of both Western and Japanese dishes, all of which were fresh and delicious. The sushi at “Seto,” the hotel’s Japanese restaurant, was some of the best I’ve ever had, prepared with the freshest ingredients and utmost care. The staff at the restaurants were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. One of the standout features of JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu is its array of facilities. The fitness center is well-equipped and maintained, allowing guests to keep up with their workout routines. I also took advantage of the hotel’s spa services, which were incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The massage I received was one of the best I’ve experienced, leaving me feeling completely refreshed. Additionally, the hotel’s rooftop bar offers a spectacular view of the city and the sea, making it an ideal spot to unwind in the evening. The hotel’s location is another significant advantage. Being adjacent to Takamatsu Station, it provides easy access to local transportation, making it convenient to explore the city and its surroundings. The nearby Ritsurin Garden, one of Japan’s most famous historical gardens, is a must-visit, and the hotel’s proximity to the ferry terminal makes it easy to take a day trip to the nearby islands of the Seto Inland Sea. What truly sets JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every interaction I had with the hotel team was marked by warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to ensure my stay was perfect. Takamatsu Kokusai Hotel
4.3/554 Reviews
It is a formal hotel that can stay at a reasonable price, although it is a little far from the station. Because I used it on a trip to sanuki Udon, it was good to be able to access the famous shop where the procession can be made in taga town on foot (20 minutes) after the first walk in the morning. Other than that, the parking lot was 24 free time access, so it was convenient. The room used a standard twin. It's not large, but it was comfortable with no inconvenience, clean and well-cleaned in a beautiful room. This is a hotel you want to use again when staying in Takamatsu.
