Hotels Near Moai Statue in Takamatsu

Because I went to Takamatsu during the peak tourist season, I couldn't book the same hotel with my friend. I don't know Japanese, and my English is not very good. I live here alone, so I was a little worried at first. But the staff were very patient and I want to say thank you to them. The service provided by the hotel is very meticulous. The lobby provides various materials (covering transportation, attractions, food), irons, lotions, pajamas and other practical items. The front desk can easily borrow chargers and umbrellas (300 yen is enough) Take away), free drinks and curry rice (simple and delicious) at night, and local specialty Sanuki udon noodles for 250 yen. The hotel is quite big, with a parking lot, it is an old-fashioned hotel. The room felt better than it looked in the pictures, it was small but well equipped and clean. It is a key room, and I need to hand over the key to the front desk when I go out. I was not very used to this at first. The location is near Kataharacho Station, the black building is more obvious, easy to find. There are many restaurants at Kataharacho Station, the food is not expensive, and it is more convenient to go from the hotel to the port. The hotel seems to have a direct bus to the airport. The pictures on the phone are only for dinner. All in all a good stay experience.

The room feels big among Japanese city chain hotels, at least it can open two 20-inch suitcases. The facilities and toiletries are very complete, and cute towels, slippers and toothbrushes are specially prepared for children. The bath towels are very thick, and the pajamas are of good quality. I want to buy some to take away. The bed and pillow are very comfortable. The front desk speaks good English. Although the operator didn't speak English when I called before😅 I didn't have breakfast in the hotel. There are too many delicious foods around. The two teammates bought a lot of snacks at the convenience store. The mermaid bread downstairs is also very good. You can buy freshly baked bread when it opens at 8 o'clock😋. It is about 1.5 kilometers to Ritsurin Garden, a 15-20 minute walk, and there are many buses for 3 stops. The transportation is very convenient to everywhere, and the airport bus pick-up point is also nearby. I want to stay here next time I come to Takamatsu. The location is located in the downtown area of Takamatsu, about ５ minutes walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, there is a large shopping center nearby (next to the next), and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. There is no parking lot, and if you use a car, the parking lot of the adjacent shopping center (Marugame Town Green) is a affiliated P, so you will be asked to discount at check-in. The front desk, lounge and restaurant are on the ２ floor, and breakfast is served here. ３ The lower floors above the floor are the hotel floors. The upper floors are dormitories, and there seems to be a coin laundry in the middle. I used the twin on the hotel floor, but the room seems to have been renovated recently and the room is clean. The size is minimal, especially the unit bath is extremely narrow, so if you use each toilet, washbasin, and bath, you may be in danger of hitting your feet and head if you don't devise a little. Even if I was １７３ centimeters tall, I thought that my knees would stick to the wall when I sat down, and if a large foreign traveler used it, I would have a hard time. On the other hand, I was impressed with breakfast, and instead of the busy place that is often found in business hotels, the restaurant with a wide 々 and space has a rich buffet menu. In addition, each item was devised, and I was able to have a delicious and comfortable breakfast. The staff were young and kind. There is also a service to provide tea brewing for midnight snacks. Stayed there for a night and we enjoyed the area. The hotel itself is very simple but great for a night. If you driving like me there a few parking lots around and not expensive which is very convenient.

I actually like this kind of hotel with a rest area and coffee and tea, but when I checked in, the exterior walls were renovated and the curtains were just scaffolding... The transportation in Takamatsu is not very convenient in general. The tourism industry on several islands has not recovered. They all went there for the Spring and Autumn combo specials. Accommodation is a small gift, female friends like it, soaking up too little time (because there is only one room, exchange between boys and girls), and the space is very small, making people breathe and change oxygen a little tired. The room space is also very small, two people's luggage is opened, almost full of aisles; Breakfast is rich, semi-self-service, things have to be cleaned by yourself. But it is very close to the station and it is very convenient to take the bus.

It is a formal hotel that can stay at a reasonable price, although it is a little far from the station. Because I used it on a trip to sanuki Udon, it was good to be able to access the famous shop where the procession can be made in taga town on foot (２０ minutes) after the first walk in the morning. Other than that, the parking lot was ２４ free time access, so it was convenient. The room used a standard twin. It's not large, but it was comfortable with no inconvenience, clean and well-cleaned in a beautiful room. This is a hotel you want to use again when staying in Takamatsu.

We are so glad we stayed in the Uno Hotel. It is quite new. Staff were really friendly and helpful at check in and whenever we went through the reception area. It is super close to the ferry wharves and the train station. Uno Port is a small town but has some restaurants, supermarket, convenience store etc all within 5-10 minutes walk of the hotel. Everything we needed after a day out at an ”art island”. We had considered staying in a bigger town like Takamatsu to go to Naoshima and Teshima but are really glad we stayed in UnoPort. The Uno Hotel is in a lovely spot looking out to the water and as an added bonus had a coin operated washing machine and dryer which always makes travelling easy. Breakfast was beautifully presented, very good quality and we were offered a different ”main” option for our 2nd and 3rd mornings. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful - just like reception staff. We didn't use the restaurant for dinner but it was good to know it was there as an option. We didn't use the onsen but were given free access.

The autumn trip of the year is approaching, so I will post it with memories of last year's trip. I was surprised to find a relatively dry evaluation. I went with my husband and wife. I'm the best!
