JR Clement Hotel Takamatsu is conveniently located next to major transportation hub including subway station, bus station and ferry terminals to other scenery islands. It has many restaurants nearby. The rooms are very spacious. Staff are very helpful, patient and attentive to details. Pricing is very reasonable.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the Takamatsu Hyogocho shopping street. The rooms are reasonably priced, and the environment is hygienic and clean. There are special tea bags, skin care and cleaning products to choose from in the lobby of the hotel, and there is an ice cube supply on the second floor. There is a paid washer and dryer, but there is a height limit for vehicles in the parking lot. Vehicles that are too high cannot be parked. You have to find a parking lot nearby by yourself 😓

Booked this double room for my parents. Very clean and spcious room with private toilet and tub. Conveniently located at a shopping street with a supermarket right next to the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which is more convenient. But driving a car is more troublesome. There are three separate parking lots and the location is better. There are many attractions nearby, including the famous Ritsurin Park, Port Lighthouse, Tamamo Park...

２ mid-middle, ２ night ３ day Shikoku trip, １ night I disturbed my wife. The location is located in the downtown area of Takamatsu, about ５ minutes walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, there is a large shopping center nearby (next to the next), and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. It is easy to understand if you use the red brick color appearance and the large cat object as a marker. There is no parking lot, and if you use a car, the parking lot of the adjacent shopping center (Marugame Town Green) is a affiliated P, so you will be asked to discount at check-in. The front desk, lounge and restaurant are on the ２ floor, and breakfast is served here. ３ The lower floors above the floor are the hotel floors. The upper floors are dormitories, and there seems to be a coin laundry in the middle. I used the twin on the hotel floor, but the room seems to have been renovated recently and the room is clean. The size is minimal, especially the unit bath is extremely narrow, so if you use each toilet, washbasin, and bath, you may be in danger of hitting your feet and head if you don't devise a little. Even if I was １７３ centimeters tall, I thought that my knees would stick to the wall when I sat down, and if a large foreign traveler used it, I would have a hard time. On the other hand, I was impressed with breakfast, and instead of the busy place that is often found in business hotels, the restaurant with a wide 々 and space has a rich buffet menu. In addition, each item was devised, and I was able to have a delicious and comfortable breakfast. The staff were young and kind. There is also a service to provide tea brewing for midnight snacks. The breakfast was delicious, and it included some delicious local flavors like Yuzu and other citrus flavors. The onsen and sauna were nice, but there is no cold water bath in the women’s area. The room was very clean, and looked like new. The door between the bed and bathroom blocks any noise from the hallway. It was comfortable and easy to relax and sleep easily there.

Stayed there for a night and we enjoyed the area. The hotel itself is very simple but great for a night. If you driving like me there a few parking lots around and not expensive which is very convenient.

This was my fourth stay at the JR Clement, and I keep going back because it's always a good experience staying there! This time I booked a more spacious room, the deluxe double, which had a great view across the city to the mountains from both the bedroom and the bathroom, with the sea and cute island of Ozuchishima visible to the right. In the past, I've had lovely views of the port and castle from smaller rooms. I think all the rooms have views of some sort. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. It was nice to have a larger space with a bigger desk, plus a small table and easy chairs by the window. There was a generous daily allocation of toiletries (in packets rather than bottles which was good) - loved the lavender bubble bath, and the Olive Energy products were excellent. The hotel provides a daily newspaper as well. The staff are always knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. I didn't eat in the restaurants (I think there are three), but don't miss the delicious cakes and pastries from the in-house bakery! The location is perfect, at Takamatsu Port two minutes from the JR Station, and across the road from Takamatsu Castle/Tamamo Park and Takamatsu-chikko Station. There is also a busy bus hub (including for airport buses) and taxi rank. Many shops and eateries close by. It's lovely to walk by the sea without having to travel to do it. Great sunsets! From the port you can catch ferries or fast boats to Naoshima, the other the art islands and Shodoshima. It's about a 2km walk to my favourite garden, Ritsurin Koen, or you can catch a train from Takamatsu-chikko. Already re-booked for this year!

The hotel is right opposite Takamatsu Station and you can see it when you exit the station or get off the highway bus. The hotel has two buildings. Check-in is in Building 1. There are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, so check-in is very convenient. The single rooms in the hotel are relatively spacious and clean. If you choose not to clean them, there will be a basket with replacement items at the door the next day. There is coffee and other drinks for self-service on the first floor. There are many restaurants and convenience stores around, and there is a large shopping mall next to Takamatsu Station, but please pay attention to the restaurant's business hours. It is very close to Takamatsu Port and Tamamo Park. If you get up early, you can go to the beach. If you want to go to Shodoshima and other islands, it is very convenient to stay in this hotel. There is a bus hub in front of Takamatsu Station, and there are many transportation options.

Hotel room was great for what I needed, solo traveller wanting something small with a hot bath. Room had 2 single beds and everything you need within the room. The staff member on the front desk spoke brilliant English even though I was prepared to check-in in Japanese. Only downside is the location as a tourist (30 minute walk from town centre). With the art festival happening, most hotels in town were booked out or extremely expensive, so I chose this one. Made things a bit tough to get around but I was happy to use local buses or walk into town.
