Good price, big room with kitchen and washer. Price is same as other hotel nearby but facilities are more than others. For who drive to the hotel, parking is in the back of the building. 600 yen per night

Cozy and spacious hotel. Convenient location. Nice view from balcony.

Situated just beside the Takayama Station, the location is very convenient. The room itself is equipped with a washer and dryer. We could do laundry daily during our 4 night stay. It’s a pity there is no onsen at this hotel, also there is a limit to the amount of hot water supplied so this is something to be aware of in the event that you run out of hot water for shower.

Residence Hotel is one the best hotels we've stayed in starting from the welcoming staff, especially Kato, who went above and beyond to make our stay a comfortable & an forgettable one. Our room was simply amazing, with beautiful views. The location was so convenient, right next to Takayama Station and Nohi Bus Terminal. There's a washing machine to do your laundry. We would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend family and friends to stay here when in Takayama. Arigato Gozamaisu Kato and staff, we hope to return one day in the future!!

We were greeted with warm welcome. Staff is friendly and hotel is clean with all the needed services. It’s also a stone away from the bus interchange which makes the travel so much easier especially when you came back from the other sight seeing activities . We would be back to this hotel when we come back again.

Good value for money, parking is available for 800yen. Washing drying machine in room, full kitchen in case you want to cook.

The hotel room is very big and clean Very near the JR station and bus station which is very convenient

Clean and tidy. Room size is big. With cooking facilities and free big bottle water. 1 min from station, very convenience. With free hot spring but in other hotel. Overall highly recommended.

Conveniently located next to Takayama Station. On-site parking is available. Everything is good except the door lock (using an actual key). The door lock is not smooth which needed a few minutes each time to lock & unlock the door. The reception holds a spare key which did no better job. Love the washing machine inside the room.

Very very Good location & nice staff

the location is excellent. Next to Takayama station and Nohi bus station. Very convenient if you would like to take bus to visit shirakawago. The place is spacious and full facilities (though the kitchen sink is a bit old). having a washer and dryer is extra helpful during winter. Great place to stay

This was our second stay in Takayama Residence and we love its proximity to the train station and its central location to town. Rooms are equipped with cooking facilities(great for cooking your Hida beef) and washer/dryer combo which made it easy for laundry. Only drawback is the lift which is rather small and only 1 to service 8 floors. Be prepared to wait at least 10min if you are checking out or in during those busy hours. There is no onsen in Takayama Residence but they do have an arrangement in Wat Hotel which is a 15min walk away...a rather long trek imo. Overall, it is a good location to stay in Takayama.
