The hotel itself is good, the balcony of the room booked has a private bath, facing the river. It's just that the private soup is very ordinary, and the scenery is also average. Yamaga is really a small place, there are no shops and no attractions. There is only one Yachiyo and Lantern Museum. There is nothing to shop around. If it's just a clean picture, it's barely acceptable. More than 3,000 a night is not cost-effective.

We have used it several times. It feels a bit old in an old hotel, but it is a hotel that can be clean and calm. The morning Viking is a 10F restaurant, so you can see Kumamoto Jo castle that took the Asahi in front of you. The Viking was delicious as well. There was ”Kumamoto Ramen” and I made a morning rake on the last day. The size of the room and the hardness of the bed are satisfactory, but because the room light is small, I want another standlight and the bathroom faucet can be set to temperature I'm grateful. We took Highway Bus (2.5hr) from Fukuoka Airport to Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal. Koko Hotel is directly connected to the bus terminal. Hotel was opened in June 2022 and there were now clear signages to Koko Hotel as we alighted from the bus. We took escalator to the 2F and take the lift to the 14F where the Hotel lobby is. From the lobby, we get a clear view of Kumamoto Castle. Our Superior Twin Room is very spacious and comfortable. We paid Y32,310 for 2 nights. It is 10 mins walk to the Castle, and 10 mins taxi ride to Kumamoto Station. Amu Plaza next to Kumamoto Station has plenty of eateries. Sakuramachi has Family Mart, restaurants and shops.

Near the historic site but not so near to the JR station. It was a rainy day so we had some trouble moving our luggage to the JR station. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are not big but its good enough. Onsen was very crowded after dinner but there were lovely treats prepared for us.

2023年11月に２泊しました。熊本駅から市電で15分（￥180）、空港バスで特快で40分（交通事情で差異あり、￥1,000）でした。いずれも通町筋で下車。新規開業されたばかりで、建物もきれいでホテル下は飲食店街になります。ホテル界隈にも多数の飲食店が軒を連ねています。３Fにレセプションがあって、アメニティはそこで自由にとります（歯ブラシ、ひげそり、ブラシ等）。貸しパジャマ￥200と有料ですが、とてもリーズナブルなホテルと感じました。連泊の場合はタオルのみの交換です。朝食は時間がなく利用せず、１Fの焼き立てパンを利用しました。また横にテラスがあり、写真の通り熊本城が一望できます。部屋はタイプが８種類あるそうで、今回は靴を脱いでフローリングの１Kみたいな部屋でした。デスクワークにも向いており、Wifi環境にも問題ありません。もちろんバストイレはセパレートです。お湯の出具合、バスタブの排水も問題なしです。ベッドは畳の上に布団が敷かれており、寝心地も抜群です。面白いのは玄関入ってすぐに洗面所がある点です。隣に鶴屋（百貨店）があり、お土産各種、食材調達にも不便は感じませんでした。熊本へお出かけの際はお薦めできるホテルです。

There are few shops around, but there is a good Japanese restaurant within walking distance. The room is small and it is difficult to arrange luggage. Just scaffolding around the bed. The desk can be folded (so narrow) that the bag can be opened in a small hallway space leading to the entrance. The public bath is normal for this type of business hotel, more comfortable than a unit bath, but not as good as a hot spring inn. The parking lot is a three-dimensional building. It is OK without getting wet even in the rain. There is no manager at night, so you can't get in and out of your car or take your luggage in and out. If you are having trouble with that, you will be introduced to a nearby parking lot.

Stayed in a room with an open-air bath. The room was clean and easy to spend. There is a tatami mats, so you can go go go. The bed is a bit hard, but it is not difficult to sleep. The open-air bath can hear the sound of the car because it is all over the city, but there is a cherry blossom and it is not visible from the surroundings, and the curtain for completely blocking is also installed, so if you are concerned, you can use it. The water was clean and easy to use. The outlet is hardly close to the floor, under the TV, under the bed, the bathroom and the air cleaner. If the charging cable is short, the tablet will be charged at the bed. If the charging cable is long, you can extend it from the TV and put the tablet on the tatami mats to charge. It was because it was a room near the coin laundry on the 3 floor, and I heard the sound of the washing machine. However, I was able to spend it without worrying about it. It is also convenient that the next door is seven eleven. I didn't use breakfast buffet because of corona. The hotel receptionist is a sister in a T-shirt, and there is no atmosphere called ”Hotel Man”, but I was able to check in and check out smoothly, and there is no rudeness. It was a very good hotel with location, newness and cleanliness.

I stayed ２ at the end of the year. It was my first stay, but I wanted to relax and stay again. The hotel is over ９ floor, but the glass is often used and the view is bright everywhere. There was a drum coin laundry next to the entrance of the public bath, and it was convenient for consecutive nights. Breakfast was a buffet, but the buffet on New Year's Day is a great word. When I arrived at the entrance with the service of the soup and arrived at the seat, the miscellaneous boiling was carried first. The soup was very delicious. In addition to the usual buffet, there were special dishes for New Year's Day, but there were many fresh sashimi, kazukono, shrimp, etc. There was red rice in rice. All were delicious and ate a lot. I went by car, but I went directly from the underground parking lot to the front floor and the parking fee was very good. Moreover, I think it is the best value for money in a hotel in Kumamoto City with a 24-hour parking setting. My wife started saving money because she wanted to go to the end of this year.

This hotel have several convenience stores nearby. And a shopping mall near the car park. I rented a three bed room. At first, the humidity of the room is relatively high, and have an air-con water dropping issue. Being told that this issue is normally in Japan since it is a raining season, but the staff assist to offer another room. The second offer room air-con is in trouble, which is not cool even turned to 16 degree. At last, we were upgraded to the slightly larger room with three beds (the third bed is still a sofa bed). The room is so clean, two beds are in double bed, the tv could used for Netflix and YouTube. I would say the organise of the staff is in a satisfy level. The shower supplies are in Kose, the water pressure is relatively good among four hotels I’ve been stayed in Japan for this trip. But there are only 8 car parking in this hotels, with the first in first serve policy. So, we couldn’t managed to have a car parking although I’ve been told in the comment box by trip.com. However, they have some collaborated car parking suppliers nearby with a discount coupons. It’s not really convenient for you if you just stay for one night. But for me, it’s more than acceptable.
