SpringHill Suites Tarrytown Westchester County

I stayed in this hotel for my business trip. The location of this hotel is very convenient, easy access to highway and the train goes to Manhattan directly. I used the train to travel Manhattan, it was a easy access to the time square. The room is clean, I was very impressed seeing the staff sanitizing heavy traffic areas. The staff is friendly and when I was there, one of the elevators was broken, but the staff helped us to carry the luggage to the room. Before I left, the elevator is repaired. This is quiet impressive of the service. It seems customer service is priority in this particular hotel.

This hotel shows Double Tree on the map, and the street tag is also Double Tree, but it is Hilton, so don't hesitate to go straight in. It is estimated to be cooperative. However, the facilities and renovations are in accordance with the standards of the Hilton Hotel, and the charges are normal roadside motel prices, so the price is very high. The first floor room has a balcony door to sit in the garden and have a cup of tea.

Castle Hotel & Spa - Luxury Hotel Near NYC
3.9/541 Reviews
I recently stayed at the Castle Hotel and I must say My family and I were extremely disappointed. The Hotel and grounds were beautiful . The service was extremely lacking. We arrived at the hotel at 6:45 PM their was no one at the front desk just a sign they had stepped away. We called And texted the number on the sign and 15 minutes later a rude gentleman arrived. We explained we made arrangements for late check out. We were told ok but please leave early on Sunday we are booked. When we entered the room it had no hand soap so we had to constantly climb in the bathtub to grab the soap on the wall. It also did not have extra toilet paper. We went downstairs to advise the front desk and he was shocked and told us come back later . when we did their was no one again at the front desk. We did not feel safe in the hotel because the hotel shut down and their was no one at the front desk after a certain time. Sunday Morning we went to see the complimentary breakfast Which was again lacking. Their were dry muffins, stale bagels and weak coffee. No one was present to ask for anything and people were piling their dishes on a dirty tray. The juice cups and coffee mugs ran out with no refills. We booked the Castle for a memorable experience and we received less then mediocre. I would have booked the sleepy hollow hotel for half the price if I knew how we would have been treated. I am sorry I never leave bad reviews and always want to boost up businesses but the Castle Hotel treated us like Charity and they were doing us a favor giving us a room. Clearly with the price we paid they were not.
Courtyard Tarrytown Westchester County

This hotel refused to offer the rate I booked online. Refused to believe that I work for the government. Spent 15 minutes in the back leaving me at the counter only to tell me they would not honour my rate. I'm a silver member. I've never had this issue before. I used the computer to book myself in at a hotel 20 minutes away only to have Joel then say he'd honour my rate plus give 2000 points??!! Why the change of heart?? I have never, ever been treated so poorly at a hotel. The lobby was crowded and it was humiliating. My loyalty to the Marriott brand is gone.
Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson
3.8/599 Reviews
So frustrating and seriously disappointing. A gorgeous location with views of the Hudson River and some lovely architecture …..but…..the property is poorly managed and filthy. Sticky carpets and dingy furniture. It smelled in the reception area (possibly the Catonese restaurant next door…. it was mentioned people who stay in the rooms over the restaurant have been known to complain about the smell). Regardless of Michelin stars for the restaurant , if you aren’t into having Catonese fusion food smells in your hotel room…chose another location onsite. The Goosefeathers restaurant is leasing the space from the Tarrytown House and is not associated with the property otherwise. There is no room service or food on-site for the guests. We were advised there is uber eats and we can call. The staff on-site seemed seriously disinterested in our presence. Not a smile or staff asking “anything I can do to make your stay more comfortable?” No smiles….seriously lacking pride in their work and no desire to be a premier site. This is a shame. An experienced energetic manager is needed to snap this place into back into shape. Not sure what the business plan is….but it could be improved to be more vacation like - but right now it is sad….Oh well. Hopefully this review gets to management and at least they will clean the carpets. ps not a very good set up for handicap - wheelchair access due to the hills, but saw some unmanned golf carts….maybe if there was engaged staff those would be available to shuttle guests around the property. But alas, it felt like there was no one in charge watching the store.
