Maybe because the rainy season in March is the off-season, only our family stayed in the entire hotel for the first two days. It felt like it was too luxurious for so many employees to only serve the three of us! Every employee here is very kind and friendly. Unexpectedly, every one of them is good at singing and dancing. It really feels like a VIP! 200 meters southeast of the lobby is a large coral group (the reason why I chose this hotel before was that its own coral group is beautiful). It is indeed several blocks of coral than the InterContinental Hotel on the main island! Personally, I feel that the corals here are second only to the Maldives. What is surprising is the temperature of the sea water. It does feel over 30 degrees (later confirmed by the landlady). It is completely like a hot spring bath. In addition, the sea water is crystal clear and makes snorkeling easy. It feels like swimming in a natural infinity hot spring bathtub. Personally, I feel that the density of nemo in the coral group determines the grade of the coral group (I always feel that nemo has higher requirements for water quality and water pattern conditions, and it is not visible in the seas of many tropical countries). (to), and the density of nemo families in the coral colonies here is quite high. I remember that the largest nemo family actually had about 20 individuals. Highly recommended, your trip will definitely be worthwhile! One thing to note: There is no air conditioning anywhere in the hotel. The fan room will definitely not be hot at night, but it will be a little hot in the room when the sun comes out during the day (but it should not stay in the room most of the time during the day).

This is a superb small and intimate beach resort with only 11 bures located in amongst coconut trees of a pre-existing copra plantation. All of the staff are truly friendly, willing to go the extra mile, and caring (we can't list all by name but a special shout-out to Abu). The food was also of excellent quality and quantity. There are essentially two beaches, each one facing a different direction, so that you can always bathe in a sheltered area if the prevailing wind changes. The protected reef in front of the main beach is excellent for snorkeling. There are plenty of organised activities if you so choose to participate in, including scuba diving, visits to other places of interest such as caves and villages etc. This resort is highly recommended.

Our stay at Coconut Beach Resort was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family with their warmth and genuine friendliness. Sheuwng, in particular, went above and beyond to make our holiday perfect; her kindness and attention to detail made every moment extra special. The food was divine, showcasing fresh local ingredients, and the music created such a relaxed, joyful atmosphere. Every day felt like a celebration, and the entire team worked tirelessly to make sure guests felt at home. This was hands-down the best holiday we've ever had, and we have travelled the world as we can’t wait to return. Coconut Beach Resort is truly paradise!

Bula and thank you to the entire Coconut Beach family! My son and I just arrived in Fiji after a healthy trek via plane and boat ride and were just blown away by how idyllic this island paradise turns out to be!! We'll never forget the friendly faces that greeted us every day, the amazing diving opportunities Faustine and Michael provided for us and the incredible service we received by all the staff during our short stay. What makes CBR such an amazing place, in addition to the amazingly beautiful setting / grounds and burres, are all the activities you can get involved in. From joining in on a kava ceremony, listening to the music and singing every day/night, going on snorkeling trips to local reefs, weaving projects, trivia night, outings to the Sawa-i-Lau Caves, etc, there are sooo many things to do, so you feel like your stay at CBR is very rich and rewarding! In terms of our diving experience, I cannot complement Faustine and Michael enough. They made the experience with my son so much richer than I imagined, especially since it was my son's first dive and he had doubts before taking the plunge. They put both of us at ease with their attention to safety in general and provided special care and attention for my son during our dives. We will never forget the diving experience we had at CBR and hope to come back soon to revisit the amazing reefs in the area. Their enthusiasm for the marine environment and their excitement about identifying the corals, fish and other marine life is contagious and has lit a fire in both of us to continue diving year-round. The staff that organizes the reservations, fielding the many questions travelers have prior to and during the trip was amazing - truly one of the best experiences in terms of information and efficiency of booking; both the resort experience as well as transportation logistics. We also want to thank all the staff - dining and otherwise. They were all so friendly and our spirits were lifted every day we interacted with the staff. The daily Frangipani collecting with "Beta" was such a nice touch - my son loved it; Fijians LOVE children! We will never forget everyone's positive energy. Lastly, on every day that guests leave, the staff assembles and showers us with a farewell ceremony with singing and musical accompaniment! Wow! Nothing hackneyed! Very heartfelt. We left longing to stay and vow to return!

The best place we stayed in Fiji! What an amazing place and amazing team! Beautiful hotel and island. The team is genuinely happy and eager to give us the best experience. The staff is well cared after and it shows. Every room has a beach bag available, we have snorkeling equipment, kayaks and lots of really nice activities! We loved the crab race, it was so much fun and the money was used to support local children. All the staff knew our names, everything was so personalized. Morning yoga and great massage with Mela, lots of fun with Vata, who teached us to do bracelets, took us to peak mangos from the tree and showed us how to cook local food. The owner was present all the time, making sure everything was running as it should. In one of the days we showed interest in visiting the inside of the island and 30 minutes later they had gathered a group of people and two of the staff to take us. The food is amazing. There were so many details we appreciated. We will miss this place and all the staff!

From the very first inquiry with Sheung, I knew we were in for something special. Her genuine care and thoughtful approach made our family group booking of ten feel like a treasured occasion rather than just another vacation. The journey to Coconut Beach on the Yasawa Flyer, especially in the Captain’s Lounge with a Fiji Gold in hand, overlooking the most perfect turquoise waters, set the perfect tone for our adventure. But nothing could prepare us for the incredible welcome we received upon arrival—songs that filled the air and smiles that radiated warmth, wrapping us in a sense of belonging. The beauty of the resort was matched only by the immaculate rooms and the extraordinary food. Our first dinner—a tender lamb shank with creamy mash—left us in awe. Each meal felt like a celebration, a reflection of the care that went into every detail. We quickly fell in love with Coconut Beach, not just for its breathtaking surroundings but for the deep connections we formed with the staff. From the youngest at 8 to the eldest at 78, everyone was embraced with kindness. A particularly magical moment was my daughter Claire’s birthday, when she was serenaded with a special song that illuminated her face and the hearts of everyone around. It was a moment of pure joy that will forever be etched in our memories. Alex, the owner, along with his wonderful wife, radiated a warmth that made us feel right at home. They, along with Vata, Api, Josh, Joe, Ben, Sulu, Kara, Mili, Mela, Faustina, Michael, Abo, Marcey, Margaret, Matthew, Rebecca, Phillip and staff, (special mention to Dua the pup), were not just caretakers; they became part of our family. As we left Coconut Beach, tears flowed freely, not just from the joy of our experiences but from the bittersweet ache of parting. We miss our Coconut Beach family and the sense of belonging they instilled in us. If you’re searching for a slice of paradise filled with love, connection, and unforgettable moments, look no further than Coconut Beach Resort. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a heartfelt escape.

Have stayed in some of the top 5 star hotels in Asia but never quite felt so welcome as at Coconut Beach Resort. The staff’s sincere approach to make everyone comfortable combined with well managed activities creates a positive vibe that is infectious. Food was awesome. Very well managed boutique resort. A big thank you to all the amazing staff. Definitely would incorporated a stay when next in Yasawas
