I was there as a tour guide with a large group. Everything was perfectly fine. First of all, I would like to highlight the staff, including everyone. They are very nice people and helpful in everything. The food is varied and very tasty. The chef deserved congratulations. The rooms and the whole environment are clean.

Hotel molto carino, personale carino e cortese appena arrivati ci hanno accolto calorosamente ma purtroppo nella mia camera e in quella di altri mancava il wc e siamo stati costretti a defecare nel bidet.

Sono stato nella struttura come insegnante accompagnatore di 46 alunni in viaggio di istruzione. Siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e cortesia, la struttura è ben attrezzata per gestire gruppi numerosi e il servizio è stato di buon livello sia per qualità che per puntualità. Camere pulite e adeguate al numero degli occupanti. Il personale ha fatto di tutto per farci sentire bene accolti. La posizione è strategica, a poca strada sia da Pompei che dal Vesuvio che da Napoli.

Well above expectation. Excellent location for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Pompei. Provided you travel by car. The staff is helpful beyond the line of duty. Rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast and dinner are good and service is both professional and warm. Il Castello is excellent value for money. Highly recommended/

Da un hotel 4 stelle uno si aspetta un ambiente impeccabile con tutto funzionante e una cucina al top. Invece a Il Castello molte pecche ad iniziare dal bagno con molti problemi, accessori rotti, raffazzonati e perdite d'acqua. La cucina buona ma di una semplicità disarmante, con piatti banali senza fantasia e tempi d'attesa lunghi. Tanto bello e curato di fuori, quanto lasciato al caso all'interno. Non merita le stelle ottenute.

We got onto our plane to fly to Italy and realised that we’d messed up our accommodation and had nowhere to stay. Luckily we found a room at Il castello and couldn’t have been happier. The hotel was scrupulously clean, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and really made us feel at home. There were a few ants in our room but the staff were very apologetic, sorted it out straight away and we had no more problems. We travelled with our two children who loved the pool and all the delicious food. We were truly spoilt, made to feel very welcome and the staff were very kind with our attempts at Italian! We really can’t recommend this hotel enough and are so happy that we found this hidden gem. The food and wine were amazing as were the pool, accommodation and surroundings. A little piece of heaven. Soggiornato ad agosto 2020 con la famiglia, consigliatissimo, una delle più belle esperienze in un hotel, camere sempre pulite,posto bellissimo e non molto lontano dal centro di Napoli, colazione variegata e molto buona, la cosa stupenda è lo staff, molto simpatico, accogliente e sopratutto professionale. Le camere accoglienti e molto belle. Ci tengo a raccontare un aneddoto per elogiare lo staff, erano le mezzanotte dopo una serata in centro a Napoli, torniamo tutti all’Hotel e incontrando il titolare fuori nel parchetto dell’Hotel ci invita ad unirci a lui e i suoi figli per parlare e scherzare. Dopo un’oretta arriva suo figlio che lui aveva chiamato al telefono che si presenta con dei cornetti bollenti ripieni di tutto. Dopo quello tra risate a crepapelle siamo andati a dormire alle 4 di mattina. Grazie per la bellissima esperienza. Un saluto allo staff.
