I think this place is suited for young people who are in Thredbo purely to ski and be out all day. The "family room" we stayed in had absolutely no where to sit or hang out if you weren't skiing. We travelled with 2 kids and whilst they shared a perfectly nice room with 2 single beds, shelves to store clothes, a shared night stand with lamp, the main bedroom had no bedsides, no reading lights and a very dimly lit main light making it a pretty uninspiring place to be if you weren't skiing. There's no common areas to sit and read or have a drink, the bar doesn't open til 5pm, there wasn't even a rod hanging in the wardrobe to hang shirts. The towels were only changed once in a 7 night stay, we were given a small amount of shampoo and conditioner which didn't last a family of 4 for a week, and there was an in explicable gap in the shower glass which lets water leak out and flood the bathroom floor. We also had no way of controlling the heating which was set to far too warm for our visit. And all this for a cost of $6,927. So overall i wouldn't be back.
