Best Hotels in Tirana, Albania

At the reception as said in all reviews you have to leave 100 euros of capra and 8 euros per person per day for taxes ...e even if I said and showed that on the booking site there was written 1.70 per person he doesn't care!! So it would be the case that the site itself updates because it is a joke!!! I had to add EUR 32 to my booking so there was not all this convenience! The hotel is well and clean, but the rooms are small coats and broken boxes are not just 4 stars!! There is no very low breakfast includes neither coffee nor tea nor cappuccino but only cold milk and ace juice! Dinner if you have a full pension is not even included water, no food you can choose or that or that the card menu is not included in the full pension . absurd!!! Then at the end you don't eat badly, but it's really little to stay with hunger!! I never seen such a thing!!! Thanks to your dreams!!

You can’t do much better than this place. We thoroughly enjoyed it. It has a great city center location, only about 1 km from Skanderbeg Square and 1 km from the Grand Park. All around the hotel are busy streets filled with shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, etc. – it seemed to be a very nice neighborhood. The gals at reception were super friendly and helpful. We were given a 10th floor room with a decent view across the city. The room was spacious, bright, and clean but we noticed that there were a few maintenance issues that needed to be attended to, like all the paint peeling off the window sills. The Wifi worked great, but we struggled to find any decent English programming on the TV. There was a good little fridge and a great shower – but watch the very, very slippery tiles on the shower floor, definitely a hazard. The room was well sound-proofed – almost no street noise. The free breakfast was superb – an amazing array of pastries, cakes, and breads and a small variety of hot dishes, and some fresh fruit. We had a look at the hotel bikes, but on close inspection they didn’t look all that reliable so we opted to rent some good bikes from the bicycle shop just down the street. Overall we had an amazing stay and loved the service at this hotel. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers looking for an affordable place in Tirana.

I needed to get a hotel in Tirana at very short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. I walked into the Plaza without a prior reservation. The front desk person, Sara, was extremely helpful. When she heard of the reason for our stay, she went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel itself is quite great, the best in Albania by far. Large rooms, stylish architecture and design, with all the amenities you need. Very helpful staff. The location is also great, right next to the main city square, and next door to a shopping center and a pedestrian area full of restaurants and cafes. The hotel has also free parking in the basement so you can reach your car without stepping outside if you don't want to use the valet service. A week later, I returned to Tirana for a second stay and I didn't even bother to consider other hotels, went straight to the Plaza. Sara happened to be working again at the front desk and yet again she made sure to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. The Plaza is not the cheapest hotel and could be seen as pricy by Albanian standards. But in terms of value, it's an extremely good deal. And you get the level of service you would expect from a 5* hotel. A lot of hotels in Albania have the right amenities but not the polished service or the seamless experience that you find at the Plaza.

Had a really lovely stay here. Location is perfect. Five minutes walk from the airport bus stop and Skanderbeg Square. Lots of pavement cafes nearby. Safe area. Friendly staff. Shaban so helpful. Breakfast continental style but more than enough. If the coffee is too strong dilute with boiled water (kettle accesible) and then the coffee is perfect. The windows are small, the fridge in the room can't really be used. But with shops nearby is no problem. If you book here you really won't regret it. Amazing value for money. I was delighted by the quality, style and service of this hotel. Honestly, I could not have expected more. Contemporary styled public areas and rooms, with cool bathrooms, excellent shower and comfortable beds. Buffet breakfast was very good. Also had a very good lunch there. Free access to a pretty luxurious spa was an unexpected extra treat. Nothing was too much trouble for the helpful, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The mark of a good hotel is when you are sorry to leave it, and we will be sad when we go after 11 nights here. It's not big, about 40 or so rooms, which means it's never too crowded. The pool is great just the right size and temperature. Breakfast buffet is very Balkan style, lots of fresh meats, cheeses, salads, as well as fried eggs and omelettes, and a good selection of sweet pastries, with great freshly made coffee. Menu for lunch and dinner is not big, but every item we tried was great, from some superb fresh salads, to veal sausage and one of the best seafood linguine I have ever eaten. The rooms are spacious enough, clened daily, with their own tea/coffee making facilities. But what really stands out are the incredibly friendly and professional staff, just as ready to joke with you as to serve a really good Mojito by the pool. The hotel's about 5 months old, in its first season, which the owner told us has been successful. It thoroughly deserves to be so and to continue that success for many years to come. We'd be happy to return.

Location is not in the central square next to the restaurant supermarket, so it is not convenient. Breakfast is still very rich! The hotel facilities are really like the standards of the Chinese county hotel. The service attitude is also very general. I want to say that Ctrip and the hotel information do not match the problem. Ctrip.com introduces the standard triple room, each bed is 90cm wide and also put pictures. But when I entered the room, I had a small extra bed. I communicated with the front desk and said that there were never three beds. I saw that there was breakfast and no breakfast at the time of booking. I chose no breakfast. The front desk said that there is breakfast. These mistakes should be on Ctrip! The information provided is not accurate!

Tirana is small and the area where the hotel is located should be nice. The surrounding residential area is obviously newer than most of Tirana and the surrounding bar has a lot of bars and bars, and the quality is good. Breakfast is also good, worth the price (´-ω-`)
