GGuest UserVery nice and welcoming owner. Good way very good and hotel a 3 star ryokan with private onsen, which we used alone in the evening. Cafes and nice shrine very short by. Also don’t miss the museum and story of the pearl diver women in that village! If you look for a small village at the coast, it is very natural and less touristic there!

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience.
What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality.
If you’re looking for an authentic luxury ryokan experience with amazing food, stunning views, and unforgettable service, Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato is absolutely worth the visit. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning someday.

It was said that the platform was wrong. Because the hotel is remote, there is no restaurant nearby. The convenience store is more than ten kilometers away. If you don't like his private style, I believe you will not consider this hotel. The hotel itself is no problem, it should be that the platform information of the trip is wrong, the picture does not match, disappointed.

The food was gorgeous, all delicious, and I couldn't eat rice. I was happy that the last dessert was ice cream. The room was clean and the staff, including the pick-up and drop-off, were nice.

The room is very traditional Japanese style, and there are seven rooms in the homestay. Although the equipment is not new, it is very clean. The mattress on the tatami is particularly good to sleep, and the quilt is also very warm. There is also an outdoor bathing pool in the homestay, and there is also a bathtub in the room to take a bath. Everything is needed, the homestay includes breakfast and dinner (not including drinks). We stayed for two dinners and basically did not repeat. Every meal has surprises. Let alone the taste is very good, the freshness of the ingredients is enough to cover all the deliciousness. Especially his roasted salmon head. That seasoning is really a must, delicious, sashimi, carbon grilled shell snails, crayfish, abalone, delicious taste, with iced beer, or today's sake 🍶, it is simply an enjoyable gout meal, really a big enjoyment. GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9.00 and 10 a.m. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English.
The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local. If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance. If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier.
