Toba Seaside Hotel ★★★★

"Unfortunately this hotel was advertised in their Policies page as "Children not permitted at this hotel". On the strength of this policy, I was expecting an adult venue, with appropriate facilities. The hotel was completely the opposite. I would describe it as a family friendly establishment, which, if this is what you are looking for, it's perfect. Great place for children, lots to explore, the staff were super friendly, but because it was school holidays it was full of children. The best thing was the indoor golf simulator (no children here), but it definitely plays to the right, so adjust your feet by 20 degrees. The location is a bit out of the way, but the shuttle bus is very handy. The restaurant was full, so I missed out on a meal, so take some supplies with you, as there are no shops near by, and there wasn't anything available in the way of snacks. It wasn't one of my better experiences, but the views were amazing!!!"

"It rained on our arrival day, but the following two days were gloriously sunny. The views were stunning, regardless of the weather. The hotel's service was truly exceptional; staff even proactively offered umbrellas to guests when it was raining. Our children absolutely loved the hotel's marshmallow roasting activity, and the complimentary bottle of milk after a hot spring soak was a delightful treat! 😀 We spent 3 nights here and had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. 😎"
