Hotel New Otani Tokyo Garden Tower Reviews

We had a wonderful stay here. Good location and free parking. Good for business trip or leisure trip. The view is super nice too.

Rooms are clean and spacious. It’s near the metro station and restaurants/bars. Very attentive staff and the buffet breakfast is delicious. The hotel is older and the beds are uncomfortable( very hard). The room was very hot. The hotel turns on the winter mode for the entire hotel and each individual room cannot control the temperature. Our room had a lovely view of Mt. Fuji. Overall it was a positive experience.

The hotel locates at the tranquil part of Tokyo with convenient access to restaurants and subway stations. The highlight of my stay was the astonishing view outside the window, which can look at the Sky Tree Tower from afar, very clear though. Also, the hotel has the oldest Japanese Park.

A second stay in my business trips this time. Great hotel with tradition and a beautiful garden. Service was top class. I will stay here again definitely.

Good position. Breakfast can be improved. All Restaurants close at 8pm. Not what I expect from a 5 star hotel

Old hotel (80s vibe) however everything was very clean and well maintained. Rooms were huge (27m sq) for Tokyo standards. Situated close to two stations Akasaka-mitsuke (G05/M13) and Nagatacho (N07/Z04/Y16) which means access to 5 different subway lines. Would def recommend staying again. Plus my girlfriend loved the bathroom robes.

Room is quite spacious and location is alright, only 5min walk to the nearest Metro station. Hotel and its amenities are a bit dated. We love the waterfall providing good photo spots. Hotel service was only so so for Japanese standard.

Very nice hotel, only problem after 9 pm is really empty lobby. It feels so sad, no people around

We had to pay for upgrade as the cheaper room price I got from Trip.com meant that they give us whatever room they had at the worst category , this should be mentioned ,, thanks

Epic old school hotel featured in the James Bond film. Great location, breakfast, service and spa. Nice park. Connected to most major subway lines. Great restaurants nearby walking distance.

Check in is at main tower, but staff will help to bring the luggage over to the room at garden tower, no hassle. Great location, as garden tower is super close to Akasaka Mitsuke and Nagatacho station; convenient in accessing many attractions. Across the street, there are many food options near Akasaka Mitsuke station. There is a supermarket nearby too and family mart just at level 2 of building, so very convenient. There is a Rose garden and Japanese garden in the hotel. The room size is super good too compared to Tokyo standard.

Absolutely top-notch service although the hotel is a bit old but they maintain the whole environment as if you were arriving at a brand new opening hotel in 70s. Almost as if you were walking through the history of time where the service is still at its excellency. It’s amazing! Those elderly women who work as janitor is also super professional. It seems like they work there since the hotel opening. Super nice Buffett and a great ambience of miniature garden in the center of hotel hallway. It’s merely a great experience staying here!

Super Hotel with large rooms , great location and only 3 mins from the closest Metro . Enjoyed the high standard of service from all staff we met and the local restaurants and bars for & fun food at a good value price .
