Sunshine City Prince Hotel Ikebukuro Tokyo Reviews

I always use this hotel for my stay in Tokyo. It has always been excellent whenever I visited precovid. However this time, the room was not very clean and I even had to feedback as the bed gave me rashes. Not sure why they would just change the duvet cover without changing the bedsheets. But other than that everything else was good, including the accessibility, staff service and view was beautiful from our room.

Good location and like the airport limosuine that's just outside the hotel which provides easy access to the airports.

Sunshine city prince hotel at ikebukuro is very well maintained and clean! The location is excellent as within Sunshine Plaza itself and good access to many good restaurants and shops.

Hotel is located inside the shopping mall with underground parking which is quite convenience.

Frist time choose ikebukuro sunshine prince hotel. Surprised new and clean after renovated. Will come back.

Generally quite satisfying with this hotel. Pretty clean and comfortable. The room size is quite big, big enough to open the luggage so no need to worry about the space. For the location, pretty convenient to walk from Metro station - 東池袋, can directly walk via the shopping mall to the hotel. But the distance is not that close as expected, it took about 10-15mins. For the service, I would say the reception is not that considerate, as I asked a easy question but they refused to answer and said I can go find the answer by myself….., maybe becoz there were a lot people waiting for check in. So the service from the reception is really not so satisfying….

Easy..shopping..walk 10mins to JR station..there 24 hour family mart..no worry late supper..super safe..good for family n kids

The location is abit far from any train station but it was link thru sunshine city shopping mall. Come during winter , the AC is central control so the room is abit stuffy so the staff offer us a standing fan. Hope they can upgrade the AC system. We do have a great view able to see the Tokyo tower

My elder son and daughter stayed for three nights. Nice night city view from the room and great breakfast they enjoyed.

Very clean room and nearby shopping area, Animate, Ikebukuro walking distance from JR, very nice experience.

Very convenient location with lots of options for shopping and restaurants. Well connected to Shinjuku and Shibuya too.

Despite direct shuttle buses being provided to travel between the hotel and the airports (Haneda and Narita) which may not fit for early flight in the morning before 10 am. Also, it takes not less than 12 mins to get to the Ikebukuro station. The nearby sunshine city shopping centre provides a wide range of selection for manga fans.

10 mins walk from 東池袋 MTR station. Big shopping mall with shops and restaurants there, quite convenient. 10 mins walk to city centre.
