Parador de Tordesillas Reviews

Ideally located when travelling from Bilbao to Portugal. Very clean, large room with comfortable beds. Staff were efficient at the front desk. Did not use the restaurant. Instead, went across the road to Meson del Douro for dinner. Service was quick. If you don’t speak Spanish translate menu online so you know what to order.

A pretty good hotel, Tordesilla has a beautiful medieval main square worth visiting.

The old house was converted into a homestay. The garden is very beautiful, but there are many ants in the house.

Everything was great. Both the dinner, breakfast and the hotel. The staff was also lovely.

The parador is well located and the facilities are clean and spacious, so they should enable rooms for smokers. What is not recommended at all is the restaurant food. Both the quality of the product and its preparation are not up to the standards of a four-star restaurant and two forks.

The Parador de Tordesillas doesn’t seem as old as many but was still a pleasant place to stay. It is set amongst pine trees not far from the A6. The rooms are large and comfortable . The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and evening meal were tasty. A great place to stay

We stopped for the night after having to change our parador from Lerma as the town had a fiesta, and we were concerned about parking. The room was ok. The bed comfy and the bathroom was ok, although it would be better if they removed the bidet so you could open the door wider. We walked into the town where we found a lovely plaza to sit and enjoy a beer in the sunshine. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. We both had a starter and main but should have forgone the starters as we had far too much food! I had the suckling pig and husband the suckling lamb. Both were ok, but we had higher expectations after reading other reviews.

Good for overnight stay on journey from Portugal through Spain to France, very comfortable and cleaned way to find with good parking.

A really excellent Parador that is well located for the ferry from Santander. It is comfortable and serves delicious food and is to be recommended

Everything you could want for a stopover on a longer journey, vey easy access from the motorway system. Unable to comment on Tordesillas.

We stopped in Tordesillas while visiting some of the wineries in the area. The Parador is located in the outskirts of the the city. They have good installations with ample rooms. Personally, I think a one night stay is enough.

As always in a Parador, everything was perfect. Tordesillas is however special because of its setting in the pine woodland. It is friendly for electric cars as it is possible to recharge your vehicle overnight; a service that more hotels should offer to help with ecological transition.
