Hotels Near Le Pernakkie in Turin

Just finished up a 2-night visit at the hotel. One of the better stays I have had in awhile. Rooms are very quite spacious with 4+ meter high ceilings and a huge bathroom. The building itself is very cool and the location is literally inside the old Fiat factory just across from Eataly and the Green Pea mall. Staff are very friendly and good — esp Rosella at the reataurant! Breakfast has a large selection which is all of good quality. Coffee was of course very good! Little tricky to find the parking but its right off the circle as you enter the area from the long underground entrance road. Would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I spent six nights at this hotel. It is situated near the city centre and near a bus/tram stop called Bertolo, with a good and fast connection to Porta Susa station. Most tourist attractions are within walking distance or can easily be reached by bus or tram. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful and they do their utmost to make your stay a wonderful experience. We loved the breakfast. It was very tasty and there was a great variety of food and drinks. We had two single rooms, which were very clean. My room had a balcony with a view of the inner courtyard (see picture). This hotel offers a wonderful stay in Turin at a reasonable price.

This was our third visit to this hotel and as always we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival our allocated room was not very good but it was changed quickly and easily by the front desk staff. The replacement room was good and modern. The only complaint we have is that the shower cubicle is far too small. Large people will have great difficulty getting in and out let alone actually washing. Additionally the hotels location is good, being close the Porta Susa railway station. No need for a taxi. The restaurant across the road is recommended as is the Sushi restaurant just around the corner at the top of the Via Cernaia. Turin is nice city with not too many tourists and wealth of excellent places to see and places to eat at. We have been visiting Turin for 16 years as our son lives here - we love it. This is hotel really lives up to its 4 stars, and it’s such good value for money. It’s situated right next to the cathedral and is easy walking distance of everything. The architecture is stunning. The receptionist was charming, and made every effort to accommodate us, especially as my husband has a disability. Access and parking were easy. The rooms are well equipped with different glasses, cups, kettle, Lavazza coffee machine (this is Turin) , well stocked mini bar, fluffy towels, very comfy bed. The bar is pleasant and there is an atrium garden for when it’s warmer. Our dinner in the restaurant was interesting: it’s modern Italian cooking, but good and reasonably priced. If you want traditional Piedmontese food there is a square around the corner with multiple bars and restaurants. At our request the receptionist arranged a private car tour of Turin because my husband cannot walk very far. All done with efficiency and charm. We can’t rate this hotel highly enough.

Premetto che è stata la prima volta che ho alloggiato in un ostello, quindi non ho termini di paragone per valutarlo nel suo genere e forse avevo aspettative troppo elevate... Ad ogni modo procedo con la recensione... La struttura è molto particolare, molto ”urban style”, l'ambiente è giovanile e informale. Lo staff è giovane e amichevole, ma forse un po' inesperto: considerato che comunque forniscono un servizio alberghiero a pagamento, mi aspetto professionalità. Noi abbiamo prenotato una quadrupla ad uso privato per la nostra famiglia, con due bagni piccolissimi e senza bidet (grosso handicap, ma lo sapevo sin dall'inizio). I letti erano comodi, l'arredo essenziale. Pulizia buona. Per il deposito bagagli sono disponibili degli armadi, ma devi avere il tuo lucchetto, sennò te ne vendono uno alla reception a prezzo di costo: non so se negli ostelli si usi così, ma il deposito bagagli è veramente un servizio minimo basilare, mi aspettavo che fosse ”completo”. La colazione è stata veramente minimal, a fronte di un prezzo piuttosto alto. Tra l'altro, per un fraintendimento in sede di prenotazione, avevo capito che la colazione fosse compresa nel prezzo, quindi è stata una brutta sorpresa aver dovuto aggiungere altri € 27,00 al giorno per fare colazione in loco, considerato anche che il prezzo della stanza già non era stracciato (però, a onor del vero, siamo andati in occasione di un ponte, ci poteva stare che il prezzo della camera fosse superiore alla media). L'errore sulla colazione inclusa/non inclusa è stato mio, però rileggendo la corrispondenza con lo staff dell'ostello, secondo me si capiva che avevo preso un abbaglio, quindi avrei gradito essere corretta subito... Per il resto posso dire che la struttura è comodissima per il centro storico e per i mezzi pubblici. Nei dintorni c'è molta scelta per pranzo e cena. C'è comunque anche il ristorante interno. Per i pochi giorni di permanenza il Combo ha fatto il suo dovere ed è stata una soluzione funzionale. Se non si hanno troppe pretese e si cerca giusto un posto per pernottare, questo ostello è una struttura strategica per la visita alla bella città di Torino.

Pleasant reception, correct room for one or two nights. Very very quiet area in the evening, 20 minutes by car from the city center.

Quando nel mio lavoro valuto le organizzazioni che visito devo riportare evidenze oggettive. Il compenso è ottimo si tratta di un lavoro e deve avere un adeguato compenso racconto questa esperienza su tripadvior solo perché molto divertente. Non ero intenzionato a scrivere recensioni talvolta lo faccio sperando che possano servire non ai Clienti ma in particolare ai proprietari o gestori di alberghi o ristoranti come spunto per migliorare la qualità del servizio. Quando mi capita di scriverle le documento come nel mio lavoro da evidenze oggettive ma in questo caso non ne ho molte. Premetto che l'albergo è in fase di ristrutturazione e questo non era riportato chiaramente su TripAdvisor. Una forte carenza nel controllo di un'attività straordinaria così rilevante, da parte della Direzione dell'albergo mi porta a consigliare di evitare la prenotazione sino al termine dei lavori. Nella ristrutturazione in corso sono state momentaneamente eliminate le scale esterne su un lato dell'albergo da utilizzare come vie di fuga in caso di incendio, restano quelle sul lato opposto. Sul lato dove è in corso la ristrutturazione ho notato che vengono eseguiti lavori di profonda perforazione che mi fanno pensare a problemi strutturali da risolvere. All'arrivo chiedo di utilizzare il parcheggio interno a pagamento anche perché una parte di quello esterno ė utilizzato come parcheggio per i mezzi che stanno lavorando alla ristrutturazione. Scendo verso il parcheggio interno e volendo andare al coperto come generalmente faccio nei vari alberghi a 4 stelle dove mi reco scendo sino al portone interno. È chiuso scendo e lo apro premendo sul comando per l'apertura. Il portone si apre io proseguo e mi trovo anziché in un parcheggio libero in un salone colmo di mobili o altre cose accatastate mi è impossibile accedere per fare inversione di marcia e sono costretto a risalire in retromarcia ovviamente affrontare la forte pendenza in retromarcia causa una forte usura al mezzo che si guida, e questo è stato evidenziato dal fortissimo odore di gomma bruciata che si sentiva. Risalito in retromarcia il posto macchina più comodo era occupato da una carriola colma di vetri rotti. Non me la sento di spostarla così vado verso i posti a pagamento esterni. Parcheggio la macchina con estrema difficoltà, correttamente nei limiti circoscritti, dato che lo spazio per parcheggiare non permette una facile manovra. Sceso dalla macchina noto che, appena sopra al cofano della macchina termina un tubo delle grondaie e tutta l'acqua finisce sul cofano dato che sta piovedo. La cosa non mi piace e decido di spostarla. Con estrema difficoltà, dato che lo spazio e molto stretto riparcheggio la macchina altrove. Visto che l'albergo è in ristrutturazione non è possibile accedere direttamente dal retro dal parcheggio, ma è necessario ripercorrere con le valige la stradina ora in salita uscire da parcheggio per rientrare in albergo. This stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. Rooms are of a good size and don't feel cramped in them, thwy are clean and organised. The bathroom is also of a good size with all amenities avaialble with good toiletries at hand. The beds are also of a good size and comfortable mattresses help you to a good night sleep. All in all it is a very good hotel worth the money.
