Right from the hotel cafe there is a view of the volcano. The rooms are simple, small, but there is hot water and it is not cold. The breakfast is good.

The room is good in location, but it is just a place to rest. The toilet needs to be flushed manually. There is no cabinet in the room. I don't know how often the quilt and sheets are changed. But the location is very good. You can see Bromo volcano directly from the hotel. It is very close to the volcano.

I think this hotel is pretty good overall. It is the closest to the observation deck in the volcanic village. There is also an observation deck where you can see Bromo. We stayed for two nights. We went to Kingkong Hill on the first day and watched the sunrise from the hotel observation deck in the early morning of the second day. The pictures were all taken at the hotel. The hotel conditions are average, which is about what I expected. However, similar accommodations near scenic spots in non-affluent areas are basically like this. For example, I have been to the hot spring town under Machu Picchu and Lenghu on the Qinghai-Gansu loop. If you want to get up later and it is more convenient, don't worry too much about hygiene. If you really mind, you should live farther away and get up earlier.

Very well located hotel with some rooms and direct access to Bromo.
The rooms are simple, but you can sleep in them. The bathroom could be improved. Unfortunately, the bed linen didn't seem very clean. We liked the breakfast buffet. Overall, the price-performance ratio isn't quite right, but of course it's a very special location.
The staff will help you with all your questions about Bromo, sunrise, scooters and the bus back.
