A great place to stay. The room we had was very current, new, neat and had all the amenities we could ask for. (It even had a Ninja air fryer in the room.) The location was great, and only a 2 minute walking distance from restaurants and the shop. It met our needs perfectly.

Has everything you need and it's pretty close to some cafes and four score grocery store, which is nice. So lovely how they warmed up the room for us before we checked in and the French receptionist was lovely. Would definitely recommend

Very satisfied! I had an average impression of motels before, but I booked a trip to Cook from Wanaka during my vacation. I originally wanted to book Tekapo, but there was no room, and there was no one nearby that was more cost-effective. Two adults and one child, the beds are very comfortable! We arrived late, around 8 or 9 o'clock, and the front desk was off duty. The note on the door told us what the room number was. We went straight in without locking the door, and the key was in the room. There is a large living room, the electric heater is very hot, and there is an electric blanket on the bed. Of course, it is summer and we don't need it. I guess it won't be cold if we stay in winter! It's a quiet town. Just turn right after exiting. There is a gas station that offers fried beef spring rolls and fried chicken wings. The wind blew up in Tiwzel the night we arrived. We could see the stars. We didn’t need to go to the stargazing town of Tekapo. We just needed to find the darkest place without street lights. The last picture was our position. We saw the stars all over the sky! It feels very worthwhile! It’s not far to drive to Cook the next day... You must go to Mt Cook Alpine Salmon Shop to eat salmon. Lake Pukaki behind is so beautiful.

The motel is really good. It's easy to check in, has convenient transportation, is hygienic and clean, can make a simple breakfast, and has facilities such as a microwave and refrigerator. It is recommended to independent travelers.

A store in a small town. If you want to take a rest after coming out of Mount Cook, you can choose it. There is a supermarket within walking distance of the door. The electric heater in the room is very warm. It is relatively clean and parking is convenient.

The room is big, warm and well-equipped. It's a good place to stay.

I am very satisfied with this hotel, with supermarkets close at hand.

Spacious apartment, with dining table and chairs plus comfy seats, good kitchen facilities. Very comfortable bed. Within walking distance to a pub and shop for supplies. Would recommend staying here.

Great place to stay in Twizel. Very accommodating with our bikes as we were cycling A2O trail. Rooms are very big with ensuite and kitchenette which had everything we needed. Very short walk to foursquare and restaurants.

We got a really warm welcome from our young host when we biked in. Colonial had everything cyclists need - good bike storage, excellent showers, heaps of room for wrangling panniers and everything for cold beers or hot tea. Highly recommeded.
