A good place to live in Twizel when you pass by from Tekapo to Wānaka. Easy to park in front of your room and decent living facilities. Not far away from the supermarket and restaurants. The only small snag is that the shower room may be a little bit small for me but it isn’t a big issue. All in all, a pretty lovely wooden house to live for a night in Twizel.

A great motel, ideal location en route to mount cook with good facilities and lots of space

It didn’t have too many choices close to mt. Cook at my price range. I only stayed there for one night. It was good enough for passing by.

We had a very relaxing stay☺️ The location was great, we drove to Mt cook (40-50mins) to do our hike and also did some fishing nearby!

A cute chalet in the town centre. Nearby the petrol station n also grocery store. Internet connection has been good. Has a small kitchen with stove, microwave for cooking. Cooking utensils are provided. Pls take note not to cook anything that has a strong smell in nature. Has a tv set n a sofa set n a dining table. Overall, satisfied with the chalet, although bathroom us a bit small.

My family love the accommodation. It is clean and come with great amenity.

Cute place to stay in Twizel with relatively convenient access to Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo. Staff were very friendly.

There was some misunderstanding between Trip.com and the hotel the price we paid was not right according to the very aggressive lady at reception. She was refusing to honour the already paid booking and yelled not only at me but also at the Trips.com rep who was just trying to help. We didn't mind paying the extra amount however the lady was yelling and being aggressive finally we got it sorted. But to be honest the difference was only $60 is it worth being so aggressive over? The motel was nice but the welcoming reception was horrific, Good luck I hope you don't unknowingly upset that lady!

Good location and view

The accommodation environment is clean and smell-free 1. There are electric blankets on the beds and heating in the room, but the heating speed is slow. 2. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, (not sure if a toaster is provided), bowls, cups and tableware. It cannot cook, only simple meals. 3. There is a hair dryer and iron in the room. Bath towels and toiletries are provided, but toothbrushes are not provided!

Although it is a bit old, it is very clean and tidy. The room is spacious and well-equipped. The location and parking are convenient. There is a large lawn at the door and the environment is good.
