We recently visited Sai Vishram Beach Resort in Byndoor from the 11th to the 13th of October, encouraged by a close friend who highly recommended the place. However, our experience was disappointing. Here's a detailed account: **First Impressions**: The resort fell short of expectations. The overall ambiance was below average and did not stand out in any way. **Accommodation**: We opted for the AC Beach Cottage, which is the resort's most expensive option. Aside from the spacious washroom, there was nothing remarkable about the room. To make matters worse, the air conditioner started leaking, and despite multiple calls, the technician's delayed response ate into our holiday time. **Amenities & Facilities**: The resort offers a substandard table tennis and pool table, which were far from what one would expect from a high-end resort. Beyond these, there was little else in terms of activities or entertainment. **Food & Dining**: The food was very basic, and to make matters worse, the menu was repetitive. Despite staying for two nights, we were served the same dinner menu both evenings. It was a poor culinary experience, falling far short of what we had hoped for. **Service & Staff**: On a positive note, the staff serving food were friendly and cordial. We even tipped them at the end of our stay, appreciating their efforts. **Activities & Entertainment**: Besides access to the beach, there were no significant activities. Some activities, like sketching and sand art for children, were planned but had to be canceled due to rain. There no indoor activity planned considering the unexpected rains in the area. **Value for Money**: The resort offers absolutely no value for money. It was a regrettable experience overall. **Major Incident**: While walking on the beach, my 10-year-old son accidentally ruined a sand art creation made by the resort's art teacher. Before the teacher could react, I had already scolded my son. However, the art teacher began shouting at my son, which we found very harsh for a child. When my wife and I tried to explain that he is just a child and that we had already reprimanded him, the teacher turned his anger on us. He escalated the situation by shouting in Kannada, even though he had previously been conversing with us in Hindi. When we asked why he had switched to Kannada, requesting him to speak in Hindi or English so we could understand and respond, he rudely told us to "go learn Kannada and then come back." We immediately brought this incident to the attention of the resort manager. However, despite the manager’s involvement, the art teacher refused to apologize, and the issue remained unresolved. **Conclusion**: 1. If you're from North India, I would strongly advise against visiting this resort. There is a palpable sense of discrimination against North Indians. 2. Goa offers far better resorts, food, and hospitality without the risk of such negative experiences. This experience left us deeply dissatisfied, and I wo
