Hotels near Shimuranoson Park in Uozu

I stayed here for 2 nights from May 13th. I tried to book another hotel but it was fully booked so I decided to stay here. About ¥27,000 for two people in a twin room. The room is a little bigger and has a good view, but that's the only good thing about it. The things I noticed are: 1) The air conditioning is central, so it only blows air, not cools it. It was hot and I woke up in the middle of the night, and when I opened the window, I was bitten by nine mosquitoes and was in agony. I borrowed some insecticide and woke up to kill the mosquitoes, but I can't go back to sleep...(@4:10am) 2), When I unplugged the bathtub and let the water run, the drain was slightly clogged and water ran out. The water did not drain properly and the whole bathroom was flooded with water. 3),Since the bathroom is old, the bathtub is cracked and falling apart. 4), There is a bar, but it is closed. 5), There is no safe in the room. 6), I can't charge my phone because there's no power source near my bed. I charge it on the table next to the TV, and of course I have to go there when the alarm goes off in the morning. There are many ups and downs, but this trip to see a friend was an unpleasant one because of this hotel. For a good price, this is not the case, and I definitely don't want to stay there again.

On a five-week weekend business trip, I arrived at Uozu because of fatigue.The route is Komatsu Airport, Kanazawa Station, Toyama Station, Uozu Station.Limousine bus, Shinkansen line, and local line. When you follow the route by the transfer app, the transfer time is short and it is a shindoi, but I was able to come quickly. Uozu Manten Hotel is visible from the station. There are seven eleven nearby. The breakfast was delicious. There are some shops that can drink and eat around. And the front desk is very nice. I had a little thought at the Manten Hotel in Kanazawa before, but the customer service was a fine and caring customer service. And night meal ramen is free at night! this was with the night chime soba of dome inn, but the ramen at the manten hotel was delicious. And most of all, it's a manten hotel, a sauna, a large bath with an open-air bath, very beautiful and bright atmosphere. It was a good bath. If the temperature of the sauna is a little higher, it is the best 10 hotels in the past history. It was a night that was a little tired. Thank you!!

The location of the hotel is superior, and the service attitude of the hotel service staff is very good, but the English communication is not smooth, the hotel breakfast is very good, the room is relatively large compared with Tokyo. Generally speaking, it is a good choice to come to Uozo for business.

I used it when I drove unplannedly during Golden Week. Convenient location in front of Uozu station, restaurants are also around. The hotel itself is old and the price is not good, but if you only stay, there is no problem, and it may be unavoidable due to the relationship between demand and supply of location.

It is a business hotel that feels like there is really a minimum of things. But at this price I can't complain very much, but I can't say it. Especially, I thought breakfast was really common and very delicious. And the scenery outside the window was very good, and the air was pleasant. The hotel clerk was also very friendly. The parking lot was very easy because it was good to park in the parking lot of the next shabu shabu shop.

We loved this hotel! It was beautiful, and our room was very spacious with a great view of the river and bridges. Athough I had only booked a standard room, which I thought would be facing the car park, we were pleasantly surprised with the room we were provided. It was great to have a spacious room with table and chairs and plenty of room to open suitcases after staying in small pokey rooms in the city The buffet breakfast and dinner was fantastic although we are Aussies, we respect that it is not necessarily going to cater for Westerners, so we made to do with what was provided, and there was plenty! A couple of things that didn’t suit us (being Aussies). Strange teacups with no handles (although all other hotel cups were ceramic mugs with handles) and very small towels. The bath mat was no bigger than a handtowel and the main towels were not too much bigger than a large hand towel. The pillows were also way to firm, but if you like firm pillows, this would of course suit. If you can’t read Japanese like us, then make sure you know the hotel location as there is no English signage at the front entrance. The hotel has a shuttle bus from the train station, but it is only a 5 minute walk. It’s nice and close to the train station and Kurobe gorge rail train. A very small quiet town.

It was a clean business hotel and I was able to rest slowly. I was very happy with the coffee service.

Next to it is a public bath and you can put it for free when you stay. The sauna is a bit small. There are several types of baths. The room is quite large and clean and comfortable in a Japanese room. There is a self-service room. There is no room, but there is a refrigerator in the inn. The toilet is not in the room. I think the costume is cheap and the cospa is good.

I stayed in a barrier-free room because my husband had a stroke and had severe aftereffects of hemiparesis. I've been to other accommodations that have barrier-free rooms several times, but there is a ramp at the entrance to the guest room, a reclining bed, a handrail in the toilet, and a handrail in the bathroom, as well as a bath lift. It seems that bathing while looking at the superb view of Kurobe Gorge was the best time. I stayed 3 nights in a row, and both dinner and breakfast were so delicious that I ate too much. The response from all the staff was wonderful, and I was grateful that they prepared ahead of time for things I asked for once. There was a step between the entrance and the banquet hall, and the toilet outside the room was not barrier-free, but a slope was set up when my husband passed, so it was okay to move. I stayed 1 night at this property. There are just another 2 other international chain hotel in this mid-size city with another one (Doubletree by Hilton) coming in early 2023. Other international guests seems to be mainly employees which visits this city for the Fujifilm site and it seems to cater to also tour groups - during my visit there was a bus load of Korean tourist. Location The hotel is located about 15-20 mins walk from the main Toyama train station. In front of the hotel was a tram stop (serviced by the City Circle tram) and about 5 mins walk away another tram stop which has more frequency. Around the hotel within walking distance are different shopping streets and eateries. Right in front of the hotel is the Toyama castle, and other touristic attractions also within walking distance. To sum up, the property is favorably centrally located. Check In I arrived around 1 pm at the property to a quiet front desk area - however the employees seemed to be busy. However upon noticing my presence, I was immediately called upon. I was informed that my rooms were not ready (I had 2 rooms reserved). However the check-in process was completed and I was informed that I could keep my bags stored and they would be brought up to the room. I only had to come back later to retrieve the room card later. I was upgraded to a higher category room. I was also asked about my option for my Welcome Gift - which I selected for the Welcome drink option. Since my room was with breakfast, I was also provided with a breakfast voucher. All in all a very warm welcome to the hotel. Room I arrived late afternoon back to the hotel - upon receiving my keys I was informed that the bags were already in one of the rooms. I was given two rooms, next to each other at the end of the hallway. The room size was rather spacious and although dated, as in lots of other Crowne Plaza's in Japan, the room was rather dated but well maintained and functional. There was a working desk and a small area with a seating area. The window in the room was on the small side - with a view towards the city area. The internet speed was good and stable - with login via the One Rewards login page. The only small complain is the TV, it was on the smaller side with the usual channel options found in these international chain hotels in Japan. The bed was luckily not on the hard side and sleep quality was good. Climate control was good - with the room maintained at the set temperature. Tea/coffee making amenities and Japanese Yakuta was provided. The bathroom was sufficiently spacious with a bathtub. Water pressure and temperature control was good. Toiletries were in pump size bottled. There was additional amenities provided - which is typical for such hotel level in Japan and in addition the Crowne Plaza sleep comfort package, Skyview Bar To use my Welcome Drink voucher, I used it at the hotel's Skyview bar - which is at the highest floor of the hotel, which is one o
