Uozu Manten Hotel Ekimae
"The food is delicious and the bath is clean."
Kintarou Onsen
"We stayed here on a tour to Kurobe. My family member developed a fever early in the morning, and we decided not to continue with the tour. We wanted to extend our stay and take them to a local hospital, but the inn's response was, "We're fully booked." When we told them that we had checked the availability on a travel site beforehand, they changed their attitude and said that they had availability, but that it was only for the travel site, so we had to check out and check in again. For someone with a fever. We asked if they could let us stay, but they refused, saying that they would have to adjust the room or something. They probably wanted to get rid of someone with a fever in this day and age, but they refused to let us stay. They also refused to bring breakfast to our room for hygienic reasons. We just wanted something that was easy to swallow to take our medicine. We didn't feel any consideration at all. I don't know if this is the hotel's policy or a personal decision, but this is a 4-star hotel. I will never forget that they lied to us and said that they were fully booked. Of course, I will never use them again."
Hotel Granmirage
"It's clean, the service is great, the rooms are spacious, and overall I'm very satisfied. The bathroom was designed by a designer and was nice and relaxing, but the only downside was that there were only two washing areas and the overall space was quite small... Day trippers are allowed in until 9pm, so I was fine with going in after that, but I imagine it can get quite crowded if there are other day trippers. You can check the congestion status by scanning the QR code, so I highly recommend checking before you go. Otherwise you'll end up standing in line waiting for the shower. Still, the rest area after you get out of the bath was really great. It has a great view, free drinks, and comfortable sofas, so it's great 😊 The food was delicious, and there were a lot of interesting designer exhibits in the lobby."
HOTEL R9 The Yard Uozu
"This was my first time staying at HOTEL R9 The Yard Uozu. I've stayed at four R9 hotels before, but this one had the most rooms (59?). The parking lot is also spacious! Unlike the R9 hotels I've stayed at before, which were all in the suburbs, this one has restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, and drugstores within walking distance, so it's convenient even for those without a car. My room was on the residential side, so I had a comfortable stay, but those staying in rooms facing the train tracks might be bothered by the train noise. As someone who travels frequently for work, I would definitely like to stay here again when I'm in Toyama."
Best Inn Uozu
"Same with my other review."
HOTEL ROUTE-INN UOZU
"I use this hotel almost every year for sports tournaments. I don't go there for leisure, but it's reasonably priced and clean. No issues."
APA Hotel Uozu-Ekimae
"I couldn't sleep because I heard a sound like running water in my room. Room 301"
Ryokan Niemonya
"I stayed here for two nights, the day before and the day of the Kurobe Gorge Torokko train ride. It was a very homey and lovely inn. The bath was relaxing, and the dog that greeted me was very cute and soothing. It completely relieved my fatigue. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Toyama."
Sky Hotel Uozu
"Hotel is a bit old. Location is good. A big shopping plaza (SunPlaza) just next to the hotel. Hotel provides free parking. Hotel room is a very old fashion like 90's but the cleaningless is acceptable. One thing which is unacceptable is the water in the room. The water came out from the shower or from the tap is only hot water. No matter you use cool water tap or hot water tap, only hot water came out. I asked the reception staff, they told me to turn on the water tap for 10 minutes then some room temp water might come out. We had tried and some times it worked but sometimes it didn't. This is the only thing we were not happy.,"
