Oxygen provided an amazing experience for our honeymoon. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food and drink was very good, and they catered very well for us as vegetarians throughout our 4-day trip. We loved the intimate, boutique feel of the hotel. Our room was beautiful with amazing views of the ocean.

We chose Oxygen for our wedding and it was an excellent decision. The wedding was organized very well, the food was excellent, many of our guests highlighted the good quality of the food, the drinks, the variety. The place itself was excellent for the event and lodging. The hotel put all its staff at our service for the wedding, as well as transportation and different facilities. At the place we were able to see wildlife, such as sloths, birds, coatis and monkeys. The rooms are excellent and the service and breakfast were exceptional. The staff was always very attentive and ready to solve any need. Our wedding was a success.

The view, the staff , the whole stay was amazing. It was such a unique experience, to stay so close to nature! The food was the best vegetarian food I’ve ever had in my life! It was so delicious! The property is well maintained & gorgeous! A must stay when in Uvita !

The stay at Oxygen was fantastic. Make sure to rent an suv or good ground clearance vehicle to get up the last mile or so of road, but the view and rooms are well worth the small unpaved road. The view from the pool deck is one of a kind and really breath taking. The whole Oxygen team, Beatriz, Aaron, and everyone were fantastic. They all helped us book some fantastic excursions and have great suggestions for restaurants and hangouts near by. The food at Oxygen was fantastic as well. The included breakfast was well beyond expectations and the crew even offered to have burritos ready for us when we had excursions before the kitchen was open. I would highly recommend this location book with confidence.

The place is lovely, with a gorgeous garden, pool and a beautiful view. However, this view comes with a price in transport. That is the only reason that I am not giving the place a full five stars which they would amply deserve for service, food and general beauty of the place. The road from town to the hotel is short (less than two miles) but partly through a road that needs a 4x4 vehicle. This service is provided by the hotel at 22 dollars, one way to town, and another 22 dollars on the way back. All sea activities require you to go to town, so suddenly you have added 44 dollars to your day in Oxygen. ANd really, 22 dollars for about two miles? Not only that; they charged all taxes and service (tip) on top of it. Their argument is that that is the market value in town; yet, they should not join in the tourist predation. They could offer the service cheaper and put it in the room price.

A perfect place with a grate view, the stuff was very kind. The swimming pool is perfect. Grate cocktails you can take into the pool. A magic place to come as a couple or group of friends. You need a 4x4car to get to the lodge but it worth it the reception can a range you a day tour in the area

Don’t really know where to start but for sure not from the bad things as they were none!! We stayed in this magnificent boutique hotel at the very end of our 2 week trip to Costa Rica and couldn’t have been any better, this was the best place out of all the hotels (6 in totals) we stayed. To get there from Uvita you have a 2km bumpy road up the hills but once you are there it is paradise. The villas are in the middle of the jungle but some have a superbe ocean view. Villas are all made of windows 180 degrees giving you the feeling to be in the middle of nature with plenty of lights as well. Got lucky to have spotted toucans and other types of birds and plenty of butterflies. They have a trail you can take that will lead you to a couple of waterfalls that are absolutely beautiful! It’s actually there that they also have located their spa, where we had a massage with the sound of the waterfall…quite unique experience! The hotel has a splendid infinite pool, and usually quiet as the hotel is small and exclusive, the breakfast is excellent just as the food served at lunch and dinner and we have really appreciated that their prices were really reasonable compared with other same type of hotel elsewhere which made us stay there without the need to go to other places! What makes this place absolutely amazing it is its service and the people working there. Aaron and Borman at front desk were really helpful and really nice even for casual chats or whenever you need something. Other people I can mention are all the staff serving us food and drinks like Omar, Luis, etc which have made our stay from really good to perfect! Some of the best things we enjoy: their welcome drink spicy jungle, the tacos, the pineapple jam, the tuna (in salad or burger), the tres leches, or the home bread they make. Even liked the soap (shower gel) and bought some! If we come back to Costa Rica we will be back for sure, I highly recommend this hotel!!

Absolutely perfect vacation. The villas were beautiful and private with wildlife right outside. Food and service were impeccable. Massage services were best we've ever had. It was rainy in November but we didn't even mind. Plenty of activities. Cannot think of a single area to improve.

Tucked in a nestled jungle with ocean views and friendly staff. Easy place to disconnect and recharge. Food and drink are on point. Easy access to Uvita and the national park. Nearby shops in town that include a range of food, beverages, and pastries

This intimate resort is fabulous! From the accommodations to the pool and the spa, everything was top notch. What makes the resort special is the staff Raquel booked all our fun activities, Omar made us incredible drinks. They all really care about the guests and their experience! Can’t wait to go back one day!

This was the highlight of my end of the summer vacation and probably one of my best destinations in over 45+ countries travel. The property is beautiful, secluded, and yet connected to everything you would possibly want to do in Puntarenas, if you do want to leave the hotel. Oxygen has its own forest with biodiverse species that will keep you mesmerized. They offer an early birdwatching tour and a night tour, which I joined with Ozzy and Daniel. Shoutout to the guides who impressed us with their enthusiasm and knowledge of spiders, frogs and larvae. I was able to spot monkeys, hummingbirds, guacamayos, a sloth and a baby snake. The infinity pool is a delightful and relaxing space. The view is exceptional and hypnotic. Food is excellent - highly recommend the Tico cocktail, Cosecha del mar (risotto), Prestiños and Ceviche. Go for the Tico breakfast in the morning. Everyone is super friendly and knows you by name, which makes your stay extra special. The journey from San José is over three hours and yet you barely notice it- the panoramic road is a treat in itself. I recommend booking Oxygen's airport pick up. Special thanks to Raquel, Mauricio, Luis, Aaron, Boorman, Geisel, Carlos and Ricardo. I enjoyed every moment of my stay at Oxygen and plan to visit its sister property in Corcovado. Pura vida!!

The staff was so sweet and super helpful! They even know their visitors by name! We want to personally shout out Omar, Aaron, Luis, and Hazel for the excellent hospitality! They made our stay super nice and we are very appreciative of the experience we had! We will be back

This is the best vacation that we have had and we have traveled to many locations. The entire staff was top notch, from food, drinks, to helping us schedule excursions. The villas, massage, and on site tours were amazing and the grounds were stunning. We would recommend them to anyone. Thank you to the entire staff for a great stay!!

Oxygen Jungle Villa's and Spa was recommended to us by a friend for our Honeymoon and we could not have been happier. Let us be the friends that convince you to book your stay. I promise the drive up to Oxygen is more than worth it. We rented one of the ocean view rooms for 6 days and 5 nights. The view alone was perfect, add in everything else and you truly can't find a better spot for your get away. The staff were so incredible our entire stay! From the 1st day on they knew our names, how we liked our coffee and food as well as our go-to drinks. Every interaction we had with staff was incredible! The Spa, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the spa. As someone who gets massages frequently I simply can't emphasize enough that this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. My husband and I chose to do the couples massage, from start to finish it was a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a luxury experience and want to spend some time off the grid this is the right place for you.
