Holiday Vagamon

The property and location are great. It is well maintained and aesthetic. The tree house was a lovely and unique experience. However, there were guests walking around the cottage area to click pictures and look around the tree house, which should have been restricted strictly to maintain the privacy of the stay. Also, at night, we heard an animal scrape the flooring of our tree house. It was slightly disturbing to us but if you are cool with the complete nature experience, then it shouldnt be a problem. Also, we had to call the reception 2-3 times to ask for water in the washroom, but they swiftly turned on the motor. Also, geyser wasn't working

Spacious neat room/ cottages inside a well maintained plantation. Breakfast provided too awesome- more amenities in play area for children can be added. Also a proper filtration for pool. Enjoyed the stay

Excellent setting and views but need to improve on the rooms, toilet quality, logistics, toiletries, shower, hot and cold taps etc. The staffs were good but they need some hospitality training. Swimming pool is just a jacuzzi. Should have a bigger one. There is space to expand.

Overall it was a good stay at holiday vagamon. The property area was beautiful, laden with tea plantations. Our 2 nights stay was in a deluxe room and the room was just enough for a small family of 3 which included our little one. Accessibility to the property was excellent, which by the way was on the pulikkanam - elappara road and not too far away from vagamon town and many of the important tourist destinations. The restaurant staff was courteous and the food, we felt, was really good. Room service was good and we got our bed coffees, without us asking, by 7:15 - 7:20 am daily. What could have improved - the reception staff was a bit apprehensive and we felt that they were new to the property or did not have enough knowledge of what/where/when of vagamon. The restaurant seems to be small and got easily crowded during our stay since it was a peak season and all the rooms were full. We also felt that the restaurant was understaffed with the property manager (criss jacob) having to run around to get the customer service done properly. We felt he could have had some help. Other thing we noticed was that the room main door lock needed maintenance and most of the initial locks on the doors have been replaced with additional ones, since the original ones did not work. We also had to call up the reception 3 times during our stay when the water got over in the bathrooms and after calling them up, they switched on the motors. For a property such as this, one could expect not having to call up the reception to get the motors running to fill up the water.

We booked 2 Rooms here, It was great and memorable experience to us . Pool is main attraction. Food is really good. The best place for rejuvenating .Highly recommended for any kind of travellers, you will not disappointed. Thanks to Manager Mr. Chris, Reservation Akhila and Receptionist lady ( forget the name ). Kudos to all staff 👍👍

Awesome place to stay with family and friends. Stayed for two nights. Best resort for someone looking for a serious peaceful vacation. Not too far from main town, quiet and serene place. Definitely recommend the pool for unlimited fun and a relaxed evening chilling. Food not that expensive, but think they should add more in their menu. May be as i stayed in off season the menu is limited. Definitely recommend this resort if u are looking for a short peaceful family vacation
