Although the property is an old one the warmth and efficiency of the staff make up for it with their ever smiling helpful attitude. Fantastic hotel and staff, I want to mention: Praveen, the general manager, made the time to come and speak to us , very professional! Suralal, Adarsh and Deepu, the front office team, what can we say, these 3 were amazing, helpful, nothing was too much trouble...and kept in supply if many cups of coffee! Vishnu, Kavitha and Prashant, the housekeeping team, excellent service, room was spotless every day, and the towel art was fantastic, Lovely surprises! Sunil, the chef...it was like having our own private chef, the dishes he cooked for us were out of this world, the flavours were amazing something deliciously different every day! And thanks to Ambili and Kishnar Kutty, the kitchen team, their help with the dishes and the service they gave was impeccable. Thanks to Raju (day) and Mohan (night), the guards, very attentive and always a wave and a big smile. Finally Kilson and Anil, the maintenance team, always on hand to help with any problems. Thank you all, you should all be so proud of yourselves, the hotels reputation only has you all to thank.

Villa Luca is a small, cozy resort with just 9 rooms, 5 mid size rooms on the ground floor and 4 wooden floor rooms in good size on the first floor. All rooms on the first floor have a good sea view and one room on the ground floor has the sea view. There is also a small swimming pool and a tiny restaurant with all the tables facing the sea. 1 room on the ground floor has a jacuzzi…..few deck chairs, a hammock and a good view point is a plus….visit atleast once in your lifetime for a peaceful and quiet stay for 2-3 days…..

It is a highly overrated place and definitely not value for money. The location and staff are excellent. Infrastructure needs a lot of work. Food quality is average … We had paid for breakfast, otherwise we would never have breakfast here. Construction activities were going on, and there was a lot of noise of grinding, cutting, hammering all throughout the day. There is seepage on the walls of the room, and this could be unsafe. The place is definitely not worthy of the ratings that it has received at the price point that they charge. However, the staff is extremely polite and they try their best. We will not be visiting again

Near the Beach: The rooms are near the cliff. Room Service: They are unhelpful. Upon arrival, they request full payment before showing you the rooms, anticipating potential disappointment. Once payment is made, their responsibility ends. Room Condition: I saw different photos of hotels and got different rooms. I feel that I got fooled. Parking: No dedicated parking is available. I parked on the road. General Manager: He is very rude. On the call, he told us he would serve food, but upon arrival, he denied it. Room Size: Don't book standard AC rooms; they are very small, and you won't have any view. Overall Review: You will get plenty of options with this price. If you book this, keep your expectations low.
