Ca 'Sagredo Hotel

Venice City Center Venice|0.06km from Ca' d'Oro
Phenomenal Venetian palace utilised as a hotel with a choice of rooms. We stayed in a junior Segrado suite, the room itself was decorated in traditional Venetian attire, and was well presented, comfortable bed and good cleanliness. Undoubtedly the highlight of the room though was the rooftop terrace accessed through stairs within the room, and provided views of the Grand Canal, and Venice by roof, absolutely wonderful. Only improvement for the room could be tea and coffee facilities, however you could always get hot water and cups from the restaurant/bar staff The hotel itself exudes Venetian character and wonderfully stately but yet unpretentious ambience. There are many communal rooms with fantastic decorative pieces aligning the ceilings and walls. The breakfast was good, and the waiters were all very helpful. The staff were of an exceptionally high calibre, very welcoming, no request too much, a special mention to Michael the night porter/front desk gentlemen who helped provide concierge services to us, recommended and booked some of our dinners for us as well as made recommendations on where to go during the day, a real shining star of the Ca’Sagredo team. Positioned on the grand Canal and almost centrally in Venice it is well situated for exploring the landmarks, side streets and reaching the public transport for exploring over islands. Overall a 5* rated experience, we would definitely stay again.

Pesaro Palace

The Hotel Pesaro Palace is located on Ca' d'oro, a small vicolo overseeing the Grand Canal, about 15 minutes walk from the train station and 15 minutes from San Marco square. The vaporetto stop on the 1 line is literally in front of the hotel. As the name suggests, the hotel looks like an old palace with decor and furniture from Venetian golden age. We booked a studio suite with Canal view. They first assigned us Room #202. It was huge and beautiful but we had an unpleasant night, as the AC did not work and the room was not clean. We also did not like it had a carpet. We changed room the next day ( #101) and this time everything was just perfect. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub with hydromassage. The bed was huge and comfortable. And the room had parquet and marble floors. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but offers a continental breakfast. The quality of food and choices were mediocre; the reception service too was also not impressive. Overall, I would still recommend it because of its charm and strategic position, but the hotel could be greatly improved with more attention to details and a more professional service.

Foscari Palace

We stayed here for 4 nights this month, we stayed in the Fosaci suite which is huge and gorgeously rustic. The ceiling is hand-painted and really very special. There is no real balcony but the windows looking over the grand canal are massive, so epic views! My partner proposed to me on the roof terrace under the sunset which was magical! The only letdown of the roof terrace was that it was totally unattended meaning that there were dirty plates, food boxes and empty bottles around, it would be good if they could send someone up a couple of times a day to spot check. The breakfast was lovely, a really good choice and very friendly staff! Would we stay here again? YES! amazing location, amazing rustic, romantic hotel, and right next to the Gondolas and a fab ice cream shop just around the corner. If I could ask for one thing it would be to have a kettle in the room for tea and coffee. I highly recommend :-)

We stayed in these apartments in September and gave us the 9. A apartment that used the top of 7 and 8 and there they put you. A bed under a roof that you had to enter cats. A kitchen that could not cook standing. If you measure 1.60 you are certainly okay, but if you are high@, forget. A room without lift, though ll of the lifts is something normal there. But the full, is that with towels put dressing or coats, I still don't know it was. We asked for change but they said they were complete and said this, they are towels (for them).

Modern hotel on the side of the Grand Canal only 5 mins from Rialto Bridge but in a relaxed area away from the crowds. The Rialto Market is next door and several bars are just around the corner. First class service from the Front desk staff who can help with advice and bookings. Daily turndown service ( in fact more than once a day) . Buffet breakfast with hot and cold choices was of a high standard. Bottled water left in our room daily. The Alilaguna ferry to the airport stops at Rialto Bridge. The hotel is decorated in trendy dark colours and I asked to move room to gain more light. Otherwise highly recommended for a lovely stay in Venice.
