We have been in Europe for a week right now traveling to Paris, Normandy and the palace of Versailles. This hotel, by far, is the best we’ve stayed at and the price is very very realistic. The staff, every one of them, has been wonderful with us. The hotel has a lot of amenities that many lack. The rooms are beautiful and quaint. Like most hotel rooms in Europe it is much smaller then American hotel rooms, but that doesn’t bother us. it has a lot of the modern conveniences, but with an old world charm that is reflective of Vienna. You can buy a bottle of beer in the lobby from one of the local breweries, which are amazing. They have many other drink options available as well. The rooms have coffee machines, and there is an ice machine in the lobby.

Rented a suite and there's not even a closet to store your clothes. There is just 4 poor hangers for hanging shirts and dresses. In order to get an iron and an iron board, I had to go down to the front desk since nobody was answering the phone… Right in the middle of the shower, the water becomes suddenly boiling hot. Thinking the mixer was broken, I tried the water in the sink and I had the same issue: just no cold water at all anymore. Of course, this happens right in the middle of the shower. Called the front desk, but nobody was answering, while it was just late afternoon. The problem happened again the day after. The day of the departure, I left around 4.30am in order to go to the airport, and the garage door didn't open. There is no button to call the front desk, therefore I had to leave my car on the ramp and go walk to the front desk in order to ask for the door to be opened. The front desk man said ”oh, I though it would open by itself…” Coming back from the ride around 6am, I tried to call the front desk to get a taxi booking, but nobody answered the phone. I went down in the lobby and the hotel was literally empty. I went back to my room, tried again to call and after 10 minutes somebody picked-up the phone. I told him ”if you're asked by the taxi company where am I going, just tell them destination ABC”. To which he replied ”oh, you can tell the driver yourself when they will ask”. Clearly not listening. The day before leaving, I went to the bar for a dinner since there restaurant was closed… I ordered some food that was brought to me in a pot that was being opened right in front of me and just put in the plate. Just like that, in the pot with the branding and the list of ingredients… I ordered a cold cut plate and it was clearly not fresh at all: the camp was as hard as skin and discolored on the sides, the sauces were discolored as well, the cheese slices were glued one to another. The service is given to kids who have no sense of class or refinement, and they're not even shaved. The lamp that goes from the bar to the outside (which is located inside the bar) is covered with a massive spider net from. As compensation for the cold cut board, I was given a bottle of cheap Bordeaux.

The hotel is located in an area that from what I could tell was undergoing transformation from what was probably a light commercial and office area being replaced by new apartment buildings which the hotel was part of and while the area was nice it wasn’t really convenient to anything. On the morning I needed a taxi the hotel tried booking me one but none were available in the area and I walked about two kilometres before I was able to hail one down. This is an apartment hotel and doesn’t provide all the traditional services you would get at a hotel but this one comes pretty close. A small lobby with some seating and vending machines and another area with some lounges and a game table. My room 311 had a handy entry area with a small shelf ideal for your keys and other small items and some coat hooks. The bathroom is off to one side and had a large open shower with just a shower curtain in my room which I think was because it was a disabled room. The shower was a good size but the floor of the shower which was a prefabricated tray didn’t feel as it was properly attached to the floor and had a fair bit of movement. The main room was a good size for Paris and had everything I needed for my short three night stay including a comfortable bed, desk with convenient power outlets and a kitchen which was well stocked with the items you would need on a daily basis for a short stay but more specialized appliances were available to borrow at the front desk like food processor, croc pot and crepe maker I think it was which was a good idea. Overall the room had a nice modern contemporary feeling and more than enough space. Being an apartment hotel concept the rooms are only serviced every seven days which is something to be aware of. I chose this hotel as it was closer to the place I needed to collect my leased car from and given that the French Open was on at the time my options were limited and the hotel had parking but as it turned out I didn’t need it as there was plenty of free street parking right outside the hotel on the two nights I needed it. I really like the Adagio chain of apartments in Europe and this was another great one.
Enjoy the comfort of our new residence, that is located just a few minutes driving from the École Polytechnique engineering school and the Paris/Saclay technological cluster. Our aparthotel is housed in a building with low energy consumption.

My colleague chose this hotel, I no longer trust their judgement. Room on top floor was very hot, in December, despite all heating in room being switched off it was in excess of 30 degrees. The air conditioning was disabled by the hotel so not useable. Reporting this to the front desk we were told effectively 'tough luck', they would not enable the AC and advised to open the door / window to the balcony which is OK in the day but trying to sleep there is a lot of noise from the roads and this busy area. Needless to say, it was an uncomfortable night. We found the guy at the front desk to be quite rude and dismissive to this request. On top of that, the balcony was filthy - littered with cigarette butts and not at all cleaned.
Ideal for a stay in Paris, the Adagio Paris Montrouge hotel is well served by public transport and close to the shopping streets. This 4-star aparthotel has 133 modern and functional studios and 2-room apartments. It is 15 minutes from Orly airport and ac ar park is available.

Great base for a Parisian visit. On Metro linge 4, a great line which cuts through the heart of the city. The Adagio is 10 mins away from the Metro, with a Boulangerie and Monoprix 5 mins away. Our studio was small but well formed, with a small kitchen (inc a microwave, stove top and dishwasher). Loved the balcony as it was warm so the airflow was very welcome. The bed folded up onto the wall and converted into a sofa which was a good use of space. There was a separate bath/shower and loo, which was nicely designed. All in all a great stay, comfortable, it met all our needs and we’d stay again. Being away from the main city hubbub suited us well.

Excellent
KKelLy.KWe stayed only one night here to visit the Palace de Versailles. This hotel was no shortcoming for us in terms of location, service, facilities, amenities, etc. If I have to say one thing then the over-night parking fee was a bit expensive. There’s no doubt that this hotel would be the best choice in the area and of course I’d like to stay here when we visit Versailles again.
GGuest UserThe location is very good to find, there is a small garden nearby, it is a public service center, and the service staff is very enthusiastic. The boss is Chinese.
Me proposant....
XxdpvvrplxzpxvfxdWe stayed two nights in the main building for a wedding. Cons: * Check-in was a challenge. They were quite strict about not allowing anybody into their rooms until the official 3pm checkin time when we arrived (and we arrived at 2:30pm, not super early). Then when we did get a room key, it didn't work, nor did the second key, nor did housekeeping's master key. It turned out someone else was already in our room with the door bolted, and the hotel staff had to kick them out and re-freshen our room before we could get into it. They were extremely apologetic and sent up some free fruit juice and macarons, but it's the kind of mistake that a Waldorf shouldn't be making (and it could easily be prevented--see below for a suggestion), yet we heard from another guest that they had a similar problem, too. * Breakfast is just OK. It was included in our rate, so we were satisfied, but I would not have been happy if I'd been paying full price, given how amazing the breakfast options are in France generally. * The ground-floor public restrooms were out of order, requiring restaurant guests and folks hanging out in the public spaces (including people waiting for their rooms) to go down narrow stairs to the spa level to find a toilet. A downside of having a historic building, perhaps, but still not ideal for a high-end hotel. Pros: * Gorgeous, historic main building. * Lovely pool (albeit very restrictive about allowing non-swimmers to hang out). * Comfortable room with a great bed and very nice bathroom (the shower was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel) and quality black-out curtains. * Friendly staff. * When our daughter left her phone by the pool on the day we left, the front desk clerk reached out to us and helped coordinate getting it back to us. We ended up sending an Uber--the clerk handed the phone to the driver, and the driver handed the phone to me outside our hotel in Paris late that night. This is the kind of service we hope for when going to a higher end hotel, and we really appreciated that the clerk was flexible about doing this for us. How to rate the hotel is tough. If it were half of the price, it would probably warrant a 5/5 even with the cons above. But for the price they charge, I would say it's more of a 3/5 bumped up to a solid 4/5 by the help they offered with the lost telephone. Suggestion for preventing wrong room keys: Our understanding of the screw-up with our room was that we were in Room 115, while the other guests were supposed to be in Room 1115 (the four-digit number signifying the pavilion building next door, not the main building where we were staying). Apparently, the desk clerk misread the ”1115” on the reservation computer as 115, and consequently programmed the keys (on a separate computer) for 115 and wrote 115 on the other guest's key holder. Since there aren't that many floors in the main building, they could help prevent this kind of error by having the pavilion rooms start with an 8 or 9 inst
GGuest UserSpent one night here last weekend, the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Versailles Rive Gauche train station. We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time, but were able to leave our luggage whilst we went for lunch which was handy. We were in room 41 on the second floor - the room was nicely decorated and a reasonable size, with a large and comfy bed and free tea and coffee making facilities. In the lobby there were also some pastries we could help ourselves to which was a thoughtful touch. There was no air con in the room, but there were 2 large fans and we could open the window which helped a bit as it was hot during our visit. On the next street (Rue de Satory) there was a good choice of restaurants and a couple of bars. We stayed on a Sunday night which meant some places were closed, but we had no problem getting a meal and a few drinks.
The Hotel d’Angleterre in Versailles is the ideal place to visit the famous château . It is less than 5 minutes walking distance from the main entry of the château, walking through a public garden which is hardly visible from the main streets. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very kind. They allowed us to use the room an extra 2 hours because my husband participated in a 15 km run and needed to take a shower before leaving the hotel. We were also gifted some delicious croissants! Thanks to this kindness, our stay in Versailles was simply perfect! Excellent value for money!!
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for only one night. We chose it for its location to the palace, only a 10 - 15 minute walk. We stayed in a superior room, which was jaw dropping when walking in. All the staff were really friendly and could not do enough for us to make our stay very enjoyable and we had no complaints about the hotel or the staff and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Versailles.
GGuest UserTwo couples, both celebrating 50 years of marriage, using Rick Steve’s guide book to choose our hotel. We have stayed in Versailles before but not here. This was an excellent hotel, nice rooms overlooking the very old courtyard, quiet for sleeping. Breakfast each morning was delightful and fair priced. Walking distance to both train stations and the Palace at Versailles. Only 50 steps to the Versailles marketplace and numerous restaurants. Well done.
JJuanmaoxiaokeleThe room is small, the breakfast type is general, the parking lot entrance is very narrow, the underground parking lot space is not large, the veteran can better handle it, every time you come back, you have to go to the front desk to let the car garage door, you can press the button when you enter and exit. There is a self-service laundry room nearby, you can go to wash clothes. The space for hanging clothes in the room is small and the hangers are not enough. There are a lot of food nearby, there is a supermarket 200 meters away, and things can be basically one stop.
