"The upside is that the beach is beautiful, stretching across the entire area, and it's located within the resort itself. A convenient shuttle bus loops around the resort for 12 Fijian pesos for an unlimited all-day ride, taking you to other resort hotels to enjoy the beach. The downside is that everything is expensive, and they're using various tricks to squeeze in extra cash. At the bank, you get 2.263 Fijian pesos for every US dollar, but this hotel only offered 1.9, which is quite unscrupulous. We were also overcharged at checkout, and we only had to complain to clear our name. A word of caution: always exchange some Fijian pesos elsewhere to avoid being scammed here!"

"Handy location right by the airport, perfect if you are traveling further and need to stay a night. Excellent food, recommend including the breakfast. Nice pool, kids loved the slide. If you are traveling out to Denarau it's $50-60 FJD (3 people) each way whereas the neighbouring resort has a free shuttle so worth factoring in when comparing the two. As with most places in Fiji, super friendly and accommodating staff make you feel welcome."

"The resort is very conveniently located, just close to everything. Inside the resort precinct there’s a dive shop which is great for divers. The resort staff are very hospitable with great services. Plenty of free activities provided everyday including fire walk, kava ceremony and fish feeding etc. Tours can be booked through the tour booking desk at reception. Highly recommended for travellers looking for diving and other outdoor activities."

"The hotel is in a great location, close to the airport, and offers excellent value for money. The rooms are clean. We had booked a pool-view room and were assigned one on the second floor, which I actually preferred to potentially getting too much sun, as can happen on some outer islands. The front desk staff were all very friendly, and you can even exchange currency directly there. Just through a nearby passage, you can catch a bus to the town center. Fair warning though, Fiji itself is quite rustic, haha, so you'll get to experience buses with no doors or windows!"

"Very good hotel, exceeded expectations. I checked into the Sheraton after returning from the outer islands. As soon as I arrived, I was infected by the enthusiasm of the concierge and the front desk. The hotel public area is very beautiful and the room is very clean. The hotel can directly check in for Fiji Airways, which saves a lot of time. The only complaint is that the food in the restaurant is a bit bad. The buffet breakfast is very average except for omelet. There are many employees in the catering department, but many of them are slacking off. I hope it can be improved."

"This hotel is perfect for those who prefer to relax and enjoy their vacation at the hotel rather than spending time sunbathing on an island. The hotel boasts several restaurants with excellent food. My favorite room type was the one with direct pool access from the balcony. These rooms, situated on either side of the central garden, feature their own private, long pool, where you can watch the sunset. The facilities are relatively new. The sand on the beach is quite dark due to the black coral rocks, but since I'm not a fan of beach activities, this didn't affect my enjoyment of the holiday."

"We had a lovely stay at Mercure Nadi with our whole family and few friends! 💛 The service was great — the staff, especially the receptionists, housekeeping, waiters and waitresses, were warm, friendly, and attentive. The hotel also offers good facilities, and while it may not have the full amenities of a five-star resort, the people and atmosphere definitely made up for it. My only complaint would be the bed — I wish it were softer, as I didn’t get the best sleep over the past few days. 😅 Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to enjoy the pool because of a packed schedule, but it looked really inviting! Overall, a pleasant experience in Fiji. Vinaka! 🌺"

"Inccident 1. Hotel deliberately charged $103 for a can of coke. Argued with the front desk man that I didn't consume everything in the minibar except for a can of coke. Wasted my good 25minutes explaining to him. Incident 2. House keeping lady barged into my room at 7.30pm not even hesitated to knock on the door. Thought it wasn't an appropriate time for house keeping."

"We went as a family of 4. Just a beautiful nice resort hidden away from people and other things If you want to go to a place where your not bothered than this is it. Not many people yet know this resort therefore the stay was private and no waiting for pools etc We had a bure next to the beach Staff were over and beyond helpful Even helped us with our chilly storage"

"The location in Suva is excellent. The hotel has a history of more than 100 years. Many celebrities have stayed in this hotel when they visited Fiji. Although the hotel has a long history, the rooms are renovated, large, clean and hygienic. It should be the best hotel in Suva. The appearance is full of British style. The sea view room opens the window to face the sea. Sitting on the balcony looking at the bay and drinking a Fijian ice beer, I think Suva is worth it. The service staff are very enthusiastic and highly praised!"
