This hotel is a pleasant 1 hour and 45 minute drive from Vientiane. The room was comfortable with a lovely view of the forest. The staff were friendly but not many speak English which is totally OK. The resort makes sure it employs local people from the area which I respect whole heartedly. Fortunately there was a lovely and attentive staff member called Bounthone who ensured I got everything I needed and helped me interpret. I left him a tip to show my appreciation. The manager Mr Xay was friendly and willing to assist when needed.
When I first arrived it was the last day of Pi Mai ( Laos New Year) so it was extremely busy with guests coming up for day trips. The day after was quiet and peaceful.
This time of year is dry season. I was disappointed that there was no water in the river and the waterfall as I was looking forward to a fresh water swim! I recommend a visit in the rainy season!
It was a comfortable stay. The food was okay. I will return when there is water in the river.

When using the zip line, I asked for my bag and they stole $200. They also stole money from my bag in the room. It was the worst accommodation. All guests should be careful.

Endroit idéal, non loin de Vientiane, où l'on peut profiter de très belles balades en forêt sur ponts suspendus ; très beau musée de la biodivesité .piscine agréable et environnement parfait ainsi qu'un personnel toujours souriant et très efficace. L’ensemble du resort témoigne d’une conception savamment imaginée pour tirer partie des éléments de l’environnement naturel. Les chambres , sans vis à vis, avec leur vue sur la forêt et la rivière provoquent un effet d’immersion totale. Piscine, restaurant : tout est parfait. Le personnel est d’une gronde gentillesse. A visiter absolument ; le musée de la biodiversité avec en particulier une magnifique collection de papillons dont on peut soi même observer de nombreux spécimen en se promenant.

First of all, I would like to thank to Chanxay for providing us the best information of Nampienyorlapa and showing us around as I was there for my tour inspection for the upcoming tour. I would recommend and rate this place as the best place to visit and relax,plus the location isn't that far away from Vientiane!! What a great place to escape!! Séjour magnifique dans cet hôtel en plein milieu de la forêt. Ma chambre donnait sur une petite rivière et au milieu des arbres. Le confort est maximal, tant dans la chambre que sur la terrasse. Le restaurant est très bon et les plats copieuses servis. Le staff est aux petits soins, la communication est fluide même si plusieurs ne parlent pas anglais. Plusieurs activités proposées mais profiter de la vue de la chambre est une activité en soi également.

This is truly a wonderful escape to a tropical wonderland. The accommodation is located in the jungle with rope bridges to walk to the pool and restaurant area. The food and cocktails were amazing and we had a wonderful relaxing time at the end of our stay in Laos.

We had a great stay at Nam Pien Yorla Pa! The people working at Nam Pien were great and always ready to help. The activities (we did the Canopy Walk and the Ziplining) were amazing and the views are outstanding!! The rooms have everything you need and create a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere.

Fantastische bungalow midden in de jungle met een goed restaurant en ontbijt. Ontvangst buiten het resort waarna je met een busje naar het centrale punt wordt gebracht. Medewerkers zijn erg gastvrij en behulpzaam. Goede airco. Paradise in the jungle.
