Hotels Near Wat Chan in Vientiane

We stayed here for two nights. The location is good. The room was huge. The bed is comfortable. The room was a little dated, and the windows were extremely dirty. The breakfast was mediocre. The pool was empty as the water was being changed so this was unfortunate as we booked it for this reason. It is quite noisy, lots of people slamming doors and knocking loudly. The staff were not very attentive. No towels in our room when we checked in, no one at the desk when we were trying to check out. It was an okay stay.

Check in date : 25th August 2022. Check out date : 26th August 2022. Location : The hotel is conveniently located right at the heart of Vientiane. It is within walking distance to the Hard Rock Cafe Vientiane and there are nice restaurants around. The junction at the end of the road has a convenience store. We booked LOCA car from the airport and it just costs 100,000 LAK. The area is not too busy but it is just near to the main the main road. Within walking distance, tourists can walk to Sisaket and Night Market. But we opt out for the motorcycle. Reception : The recep area is small but nicely decorated with wooden furniture. We arrived around 8am and the well spoken English receptionist welcomed us warmly. She also direct us to the luggage area and we got to keep our luggage before check in time. Before I depart from my home country, I texted the owner about motorcycle rental. The owner kindly replied me and arranged for us the motorcycle rental that only costs 50,000 LAK per day (which is super cheap). When we arrived, the motorcycle was ready. All in all, I felt welcome in the hotel. Room : My room is in the second floor. It has an amazing courtyard view. The room is spacious, the bathroom is big and clean. The AC works very well. The bed are large and comfy. An electric kettle was provided and 2 mineral waters are there for us. The towels are fresh and the wardrobe is big enough for us to store our rucksacks. Around the hotel : It is a very small but well run hotel. The hotel is clean and spotless. The courtyard is very amazing and the resting area gives a very tranquil vibe. There is a limited space motorcycle parking rental. The hotel also seems very quiet and looks like a very good resting/working place. There are no elevator around so disable people had to reconsider booking here or you can opt for ground floor room right in front of the courtyard. We checked out around 6am the next day so we didnt get to try the breakfast. Satisfaction : We are very satisfied with our stay in the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel for tourists.

Great for the price. There is an elevator and breakfast is simple but it is good to eat. The staff are friendly. There is also a bus stop to the airport right in front of the hostel. Wi-Fi is also bready. One downside is that there are ants in the room. There is no problem with ants, but I was a little nervous when I slept with ants crawling on the bed pillow, except that.

An older style hotel still our deluxe style room was perfectly adequate with daily servicing with smiling happy staff over the 6 days we were there. The pool on the 2nd floor is good for doing short laps and a small gym with weights and exercise machines. The daily breakfast was good with a great variety happy and efficent staff there led by Ajit a colorful character with a wealth of information we enjoyed many a chat with him. On reception Jer, Khamdy & Khoun were always smiling and helpful, reception manager Annie was lovely and most agreeable to our requests we would stay here again so obviously recommend this hotel.

I just left this morning. The boss is Chinese and very sincere and enthusiastic. He is patient and thoughtful in treating guests. He has no complaints about my repeated missed appointments. There is Chinese service at the front desk, and it is easy to communicate. The hotel is in a very advantageous location. It is very convenient to go to the Arc de Triomphe, the Black Tower, and Parkson Shopping Plaza. You can walk there. I am very satisfied with my stay. I want to say sorry to the boss again! I am sorry for causing you a lot of trouble!

This was a. Nice quiet hotel in the city. The location was close enough to everything a traveler needs and plenty of taxi service ready to take you anywhere for very reasonable prices. I would book this hotel again.

Great value for money. It has an excellent location next to two big shopping malls and close to the city center. The staff is very polite and helpful. The room was clean and it offered a stunning view of the city and the Mekong River. Totally recommended.

Clean accommodation, new, good overall service, WiFi cannot be used, but there are staff who come to help see and fix the air conditioner, very cool, the mattress is not very soft. If people like a tight mattress, they should like the bathroom very good, the water system is good, the breakfast is good, not a lot, but focus on the quality and taste of fresh salad vegetables, not crowded.

A good hotel to stay in for one night if you are catching a plane the next morning. Very close to airport - and the hotel provides a free shuttle service. Bed was extremely comfortable, however room and pillows smelled of cigarette smoke. Breakfast is very simple, Chinese style. You will also need to have cash for the hotel deposit as they do not accept credit cards for this. If you do not have cash, there is an ATM as short walk up the road.
