Hotels Near Koezio in Villeneuve D＇Ascq

Very unexpected, the price is very real, but the inside is clean and tidy, especially good, the kind of value for money

We stayed for 2 nights in September 23 for the rugby World Cup. Firstly as you enter the reception area, which is just a desk and a lift, the stench from the bin room was unbearable. To get to the room on the 6th floor we had to walk down a graffiti covered corridor (not sure if it's meant to be art?). The room itself was big enough but felt more like 'student digs' than a hotel room. The toilet was separate from the shower room & had no soap or towel rail, just a small sink with a towel actually in the sink. The shower head was floppy meaning it had to be held onto. But the worst part of it was, after paying €400 for 2 nights, the room was not cleaned! When we asked why the room wasn't cleaned, we were told they are only cleaned once a week! I have never experienced this in any hotel I've stayed in before and I'm shocked at the poor service. Needless to say I will never use tulip inns again.

The hotel is excellently located opposite the main train station where the Eurostar arrived. The area was very quiet and also within walking distance to pretty much everything we needed to see so we walked everywhere and never needed public transport. The lobby of the hotel is cosy and very welcoming and the people at reception were friendly and very accommodating. The room was nice and the beds very comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that but we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

I had stayed here previously and been very impressed so returned. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms excellent/comfortable. Had a lovely meal in Ma Reine restaurant - also good cocktails served on the patio area. Wide selection and range for breakfast. Excellent value. Good location close to Eurostar and the Old Town.

We stayed here over the Paris Roubaix weekend, had an excellent stay. Great breakfast, parking close by, Easily Cycleable to the Roubaix velodrome in the morning. The manager was extremely helpful, and good English which was useful as my French is terrible. The room was comfortable, could probably do with a couple more pillows, and it was a touch warm, no matter what we pressed to cool it down, but the window was easily opened to let a breeze in.

We spent our holiday in the junior suite. We were lucky to be there in lovely weather so we could enjoy the luxury of the spacious terrace. The room was large too, and well equipped. All the amenities were present except ironing facilities. The minibar was replenished daily and all the contents of it were really free. The only disappointing discomfort was that the minibar was definitely not cool enough. Especially as we were there during a heat wave. The room temperature was OK thanks to the powerful but silent airco. Street noise did not enter the room, nor sounds from the adjacent room. We had comfortable nights in Why hotel. The bedding was excellent. So was the cleaning. We appreciated the offer of greening up, which meant that we kept our towels during our stay in order to improve ecological footprint. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied and ample. The location of the hotel was close to the Place Rihour and the beautiful Grand Place of Lille. Public transport was nearby, cheap and efficient. We had rented a parking place of the hotel in a secured parking garage close to the hotel, but we did most of our trips by metro for instance to Roubaix and Tourcoing. We had one of our best holiday experiences in Why hotel. Whole heartedly recommended!

Great hotel! Location not yet 5min vd highway(a1) and large secure parking garage with discount for hotel guests(€8 12/u €16 24/u). All new, luxurious and super clean. Beautiful rooms, good beds, fohn & powerful shower. Invalid room also top adapted for wheelchairs with screw/high toilet/douche/additional room. Box and large TV on the room. Breakfast very extensive from scramled eggs/bacon/sweets to bread, meat products and sweets. Yochurt,corn flakes,fruit & apple meals. Hotel has exceeded our expectations and we will certainly come back! Also very safe if you travel only there the lifts ed work only with room card ;) A few minutes the airco can better stay for us just too warm

Restaurant magnifique avec vue incroyable sur la ville au dernier étage de l’hôtel. Nous avons mangés sur le roof top c’était super sympa! Le service est parfait et accueillant. Améliorations nette sur le service avec la nouvelle équipe. Les plats sont bons et bien servis et les cocktails sont excellents. Rien à dire à part à bientôt !

Stayed one night (driving through Lille) with the family. We reserved a ‘Family Room’ and got two adjacent rooms (connected through an inside door), hence had two bathrooms, TVs, the whole lot. The hotel looks recently renovated (or built), it is very well located in the city center of Loos, plenty of places to eat nearby, a beautiful park, and a Carrefour (in case you need some groceries). The hotel has all measures for dealing with COVID-19 and the breakfast was served to ensure guests are not on top of each other and the food. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and will pass by again.
