Hotels Near Camping Sandaya L’Île des Papes - 4 étoiles in Villeneuve-les-Avignon

Good litter, clean, protected parking and therefore the price quality ratio is undisputable on these 3 points but what waste a little the party is the absence of a decent reception of this name. Just a good day, no explanations at arrival ....bref we really feel disturbed. No information written in the rooms and so it should have been told that breakfast ends at 10.00 hours and especially Sunday at 09.30 (?) .....But even when it comes at the time you are asked about a dry tone ..... have booked? the small room was empty .... shortly everything you ask the operator seems to be too much and so SURPRISE FOR THAT IS NOT THAT .....ça will no longer arrive. When you don't like people, when you don't like this beautiful hospitality profession, you don't have to exercise it, sorry to write it.

We had an amazing weekend at the Chateau. The rooms, landscaping, impeccable service and facilities made us escape the world for a weekend and feel fully transported into a southern French dream. There is plenty to do in the nearby towns to keep us busy. Lots of great food options that were recommended. Complements to the Radford family and the staff for an amazing stay.

I stayed only one night but will for sure stay here longer next time I go to Avignon. The hotels location is perfect for me who likes walks as a day starter when you have to cross the twin rivers to reach Avignon center. Also the small town Villeneuve is in a short walking distance with interesting places to visit and parks for relaxing. During my short stay I could visit both towns without any hurry. I had a small nice room, perfect for a solotraveller. A quit busy trafic on the nearby road but when the sound insulation was very good in the room I had no problems with the trafic and I slept very well. A good breakfast on the terass on the top floor with a wiev of the Avignon center in the distance was a beautiful and nice start of the day! Bjoern Sweden

We have stayed at the mercure next door ~5 years ago & the rooms were so hot (in July..& they showed us 3 different rooms!) that we couldn’t sleep, so we thought we would try the Kyriad this time. Even though they have the same type “central” heat/ac, I was actually able to adjust the temp in my room. We stayed in Jan & sometimes hotels in Europe have the heat on full blast(too hot!) so I was happy to be able to have some control in order to sleep well. I also appreciated how new & super clean the room was. The mini bar had a few cold drinks for sale inside & the rest was open for your items (No freezer section). The coffee supplies were very adequate👏The bathroom was spotless! Our room overlooked the square & with the windows closed, we could not hear a thing. The young lady & man working reception were very nice & their English was excellent. Best location & price that I could find for the amenities

The location was perfect - situated right next to City Hall. The staff was friendly, and we really appreciate the bottle of rose and olive oil as presents to celebrate our anniversary. The room size was petite, but it is on par with the hotel rooms we stayed in France, although the bathroom here was pretty large. There was a bit of a miscommunication with our to-go breakfast, but it got resolved quickly.

We spent the morning to get the codes of the door for late arrival (festival) and deposit our bags that were waiting for us in the room tonight. The hotel is located in the city centre of Avignon, and is located in the city centre of Avignon. (Breads, yacht, compot, juice. With Clim, we appreciated the kindness and availability of the bosses and hopefully return to it more than one night can be on train. ( easy access with bus 16) the swimming pool has tried well but we missed time.

It is hard to use for meals because there is a trash collection box below the terrace (outside the hotel area). The inn with the kitchen in Avignon seems to have a regular shape, such as tableware and water fields, and it is comfortable everywhere. It was clean and nice here. It was a blind spot that I didn't leave my luggage after checking out. Be careful because the receptionist is not open outside the time.

The hotel is in a small city with the most beautiful trip this time. The whole city only needs to be walked. You can enjoy the rich ancient architecture scenery around, and friendly customs. Good restaurants are all around. There are few bars and very lively, everywhere. It is a beautiful view, the air is particularly good, and the moonlight is beautiful at night. The hotel is a 400-year-old building. A small hotel is directly built and connected. It also has many years of history. I like these poplars, pine trees, etc., looking at the inner garden. It’s also very comfortable, and I also feel why the French can read a book on a sun lounger and drink a cup of coffee. It’s a day. When it comes to the beautiful breakfast environment, looking at the landscape through the glass, it is also a European-style breakfast. I stayed at the Avignon Grand Hotel with my partner from 12 to 16 September 22 there were however a number of short comings. The first of these was that the room we had been provided with was infested with mosquitoes - we had discovered this in the middle of the night after hearing the typical mosquito sounds and in the morning we had noticed we had numerous mosquito bites on our bodies. I had complained to the hotel front desk, the staff however appeared dismissive, my fundamental point to them was that the room should have been properly disinfected of the insects prior to making it available to customers. Secondly, breakfast in the hotel was of the bare minimum, in terms of hot cooked food , only bacon and scrambled eggs were available, the latter was of poor quality and almost resembled a paste as the eggs were cooked in far too much cream and milk.Cereal, bread, croissants, yogurt and some fruit were also available. No hot water was available in the hotel in the morning of the 16 September 22. Lastly, all the TV channels were in French, not even one channel was available in English. We had booked this hotel on the understanding it was of 4 stars, given however the shortcomings above together with the standard and quality that were below customer expectations it is difficult to see how the 4 star rating and price being charged was justified.
