Lovely little turn of the century hotel in the heart of town that has been tastefully furnished and updated. Great beds and bedding, refurbished bath, antique furniture, friendly host. All rooms are upstairs. Definitely would stay again!

Friends and I rode the Tour of Idaho on our dirt bikes across the State of Idaho in August of 2023 and had made reservations at the Ryan Hotel at the advice of the Tour creator, Martin Hackworth. We were so glad that we did and can not speak well enough of Donna and her beautiful historic hotel. Such a clean hotel and a beyond hospitable host! We were tired and dirty as we rolled into Wallace that evening and Donna welcomed us with open arms and was very supportive and understanding to us as Tour riders! Will definitely stay there again during our travels!

We enjoyed the warm hospitality of the hotel family staff. Super comfy beds and location that was easy walking distance to restaurants and bars. We also appreciated the secure indoor bike storage next door. Thank you Donna!

My son and I were on a cross country bicycle trip, camping most of the way. But every once in a while we needed a little luxury, like a soft be and a shower. When we came across the Ryan it was perfect. The price was reasonable and the place was very clean. We stayed in room 16, which had to bonus of two sinks along with two queen beds. The AC was chillin’ we even had to turn it down (in July) it was so cold. This little family owned and run place even had a special locked bike storage area. They loaned us a few rags to we could get the dust off the bikes, before we headed to the showers. The town was great too. We found some excellent food and beverage choices. (We ate at the Goat). In the morning the Ryan had coffee and some light breakfast fare to kick us off on our ride. Great place, fits the Western Mountain vibe perfectly.

Wallace is a charming historical town with lots to explore. Ryan Hotel is right in the heart of town with everything in easy walking distance. I loved our room, including the claw footed tub for soaking. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to check in with us throughout our visit (we were close to the desk). I highly recommend, and don’t miss out on the Italian restaurant next door. It’s a hidden gem.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night. We really enjoyed it. It is an old building but that is what we were looking for. We wanted to experience the way it was in the " old days" . We were not disappointed. Very friendly staff. And the place was spotless. The town of Wallace is just like a old time town and we enjoyed it as well. I would definitely stay there again.

The Ryan Hotel is adorable, Donna is a wonderful attentive host, the rooms are very cosy and comfortable, right in the heart of Wallace, and what a heart Wallace has! We regret only having one night! So much to do and see in this hidden gem! If you need all the modern conveniences then don't book here, you will only give a bad review which this hotel does not deserve. So many excellent places to eat, truly is a great little town, we will be returning!

We had the pleasure of participating in one of the Ryan’s Ghost Hunting weekends in historic Wallace!! What an experience!! The owners are such an accommodating, down to earth couple who were so attentive The decor, furniture, everything about it was amazing! We recommend it to everyone. We will definitely be back. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Ryan Hotel offered a very pleasant stay. Centrally located, it was a great base from which to wander downtown Wallace. Many restaurants within walking distance, as well as the stairs that take you to the streets and homes above town. I had read about the Big Burn of 1910 and was anxious to visit the town. Ryan Hotel doesn’t disappoint. Well recommended.
