Had a good experience in vistara resort. Staff made us incredibly welcome. Facilities were good. The ambience was very calm maybe because of lack of tourists because of non peak season.

It's just the approach to the resort which is cumbersome but once reached the property it's nothing less than a heaven. Scenic beauty, warmth of staff has taken out all the stress out of us. Live instrumental music was one more addition in the goodness. Overall a great great experience

We had booked a sky villa for two nights in this resort. Coming to the experience, it was not good. We had requested the resort to arrange for a candle light dinner but it was not up to the mark. It became worse the next day when there was a maintenance scheduled for around 6 hours to clean the water filter tank during our stay and the resort staff had no proper back up plans to provide water for the shower. We had to wait for three hours after their maintenance for water and there was no hot water. The hot water was available at 9 am the next day. The staff promised to send water through the bucket but did not do so. There were also minor power issues during our stay. There's also spa services available. We tried a full body massage but it was okay. Apart from the issues above, the room was good with a spacious bathroom. It had a nice view from the balcony but that's the only positive from our stay. Coming to the food, it was okay. They had a limited menu during dinner and you had to order it before an hour or two. The breakfast was good though. Overall, it was not worth the money.

We had a 3 night stay at vistara resort. The road leading to the resort is a bit narrow but manageable. The location of the resort is excellent. The view of karapuzha reservoir and the lush green mountains from the resort, is magical. We stayed in the sky view room and the room was pretty spacious and aesthetically decorated! must say, that the food we had in the resort was delicious. Also live music in the evening on weekends, was great! highly recommend this place.

Location is very good. However, the approach road is very narrow. Before booking it was mentioned that the resort don't allow stag entry. But we could see so many groups of only men. Truly disappointed with it. Also the resort don't work on guests privacy. While we were in the pool they allowed some guests to have a party by the pool clicking photos via camera and drone. This was very super irritating. Though food was good resort forces you to have buffet for dinner and doesn't allow ala carte. Had a very forgettable stay at the resort.

The place was simply perfect. The view, the food, and the staff. 10/10 points to all. We were a group of 13 and the resort staff ensured our satisfaction with their impeccable hospitality. Definitely choosing this place again on my next trip to wayanad!
