We were checked in by Ali late last night & he met us again this morning & brought our bags downstairs. Our room was 204 which was a twin room, we had a powerful hot shower in the morning which is just what we needed before our flight. The room was clean, bathroom could do with a bit of superficial patchwork but for £100 last minute booking so close to Heathrow this was definitely the best deal we could find. Ali was very helpful & friendly & rang a taxi for us in the morning. Would stay here again before catching our flights.

I needed somewhere to stay for work at short notice. Came across Oakwood b&b, great location and great price. I realised check in was limited hours which id just miss - gave the b&b a call. Very kind gent took my details and let me know how to get in after hours. Very beautiful building and a very convenient spot to west Drayton station. I’m often in the area for work / airports and am sad I’ve never come across Oakwood before. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and pretty. I don’t drink hot drinks but note tea making facilities available. I appreciate the kindness of this hotel with my arrival time, and think the price is fantastic for the quality. I will certainly stay again. Supporting small businesses is important. Thank you for my stay x

The location of the place is really good like 10 minutes from the airport, very convenient, check in was really fast and staff seemed nice the room was okay did find some stains on one of the cushions which wasn't great and the remote was dirty too.The bed was fine and comfy enough but could hear the person next door very clearly which was the best too. The bathroom was nice and clean with shower being good too, so overall I say it's good enough but only if you can find a cheap price for it.

It was a good hotel with all the amenities in the hotel. The size of the rooms are pretty small but okay for an individual. best part about the hotel was the location, it is very close to Airport ( you can just hop on the london bus ).

It is very convenient to get to the train station, there is a bus station opposite, quiet and quiet, and the room is clean and relatively new. It was only twelve in the morning, but the jamal at the front desk was very service-minded. I checked the existing rooms to check in, which made me check in early. Very good experience. The rooms are cost-effective and there are supermarkets and small shops in the surrounding area.

The location us super convenient if you are near T4, so don't have to walk a long way in the middle of the night to find somewhere to sleep. It takes around 5min walk on the link bridge to access the hotel lobby. Room prices also included breakfast for 2 person in each room. Smooth check in just like the other IHG hotels (14:00 - 06:00). Check out time is 11:00am. Rooms are clean and comfy for travellers. The room comes with two set of pillows (soft and firm) which is very nice of them thinking like this. Hairdryer and iron is also available. Everything else was up to expectations for an airport hotel, I would only say the walk from the lift to your room is quite far and the carpet is not the easiest to pulled a 20kg suitcase.

It doesn't take much to send your bar staff on a cocktail course and buy a ice crusher to make a margharita. Please don't advertise it if it can't be made. Very expensive too considering it tasted of soap and had big chunks of ice floating in it and a slice of lemon and not lime. I chose to stay for two nights as a destination hotel rather than 'just a hotel near the airport' so I suppose you could label a 'service' hotel but I have felt after being here for one day and one more night to go, it is not a place where people want to create or make relationships as I have felt it being rather a 'no' environment. I have done my best to be friendly but felt a little bit like more of a nuisance for wanting to create more relationships as a solo traveller especially when at 10 staff started to clear breakfast before I was even finished at 10.30 and then looked at a plate I had taken with me to my room as if to say 'you shouldn't be taking that' when it felt too uncomfortable to finish it in the main room. I may be unusual in my longer stay but I have still paid and a good customer and travel and stay in hotels a lot. The price is a good deal but that should still reflect good service. There should also be instructions on how to work the tv as I couldn't and then I met two ladies who had sat in the lounge for 4 hrs because they also couldn't work it so I helped them out. I train staff in friendliness and not saying they weren't but in my opinion, their needs to be a bit more approachability for a hotel near a major London airport with such incredible facilities such as a roof terrace overlooking the runway. It feels a bit like it has been forgotten and just left to be as it is as a very small part of the large Thistle Hotel Chain.

Wonderful friendly staff and a great selection of freshly prepared food including delicious creative salads as well as 3 hot dishes! Particularly loved the beef stew and spinach arincini and the mooli and chickpea sauce. Children loved the red velvet and banofee tart! Well done Chef Valentina and team- thank you for an awesome evening. We will be back.
