Hotels Near Altes Schöpfwerk in Westerland

We were delighted with the apartment hotel complex! A beautiful location - just a 1-minute walk to the Wadden Sea and just a 5-minute walk to the two bus stops from where you could travel to the north and south of the island. The hotel itself was very quiet, which ensured a restful sleep. What was striking was the extremely friendly, courteous, very attentive and polite staff in all areas (reception, breakfast room, bar, room cleaning). Our apartment was very spacious and really offered a lot of space. The large windows and the patio door provided a lot of light in the room. The very well-equipped kitchenette was also practical. We were particularly impressed by the creativity - although the spa area was not usable due to renovations, which was also expressly stated on the website (!), they still tried to offer quite a few treatments, which was a very nice idea! Some apartments were lovingly and attractively converted into spa treatment rooms. I was able to experience this during massage treatments and am grateful that such solutions were offered! At this point I would also like to praise and highlight the professionalism of the spa staff! What we also enjoyed to the fullest every day was the extremely extensive breakfast buffet. All tastes were catered for - from Nordic fish, to vegetarian and vegan, to cold and warm, to sweet. The healthy food was striking, such as the daily changing smoothies, greenies, overnight oats, fruit variations, etc. In the evenings, the hotel's own bar invited you to linger. So every evening we enjoyed the beautiful bar atmosphere and ended the day with creative and tasty cocktails. We felt very well looked after, got our money's worth and enjoyed every minute in the hotel area - whether in the apartment, in the breakfast room in the morning, in the bar in the evening or during the spa treatments during the day. If it were possible, we would give more than 5 stars! Thank you very much for this wonderful vacation - for us this vacation definitely belongs in our personal list of the ”best” vacations, and the stay at Tui Blue plays a very large part in this! Sehr zentrale Lage in Westerland. Netter Empfang und Service. Ausreichendes Frühstück. Zimmer sehr schön geräumig und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Bad OK, leider kein Warmwasser, da Totalausfall. Nur Verdunckelungsstoffe am Fenster und keine Gardinen. Von Gegenüber einsehbar. Die Kopfkissen zu hart und zu weich. Matrazen OK.

The hotel is in good location a few meters from the beach and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The staff is very friendly. When we arrived at night, the Lord showed us the way to the apartment and helped us with the bags. The bags can be left at the departure day in the hotel. The bags cannot be stored at the departure day in the hotel. The rooms are reasonably large and clean. The beds are very narrow and not so comfortable. Seed is available free. The room has a furnishing, TV, safe, bookmark, table, sofa, kitchen with full facilities (salt, coffee, spices, dishes, dishes, refrigerator, ...).Unfortunately, the hangs are very light-through. The bathroom is reasonably large with a deposition area and large mirror. There is also a balcony. Unfortunately there was only one stick by a prolongation cable on the bed.

Lets start to explain that book a hotel on Sylt is always crazy expensive situation. So Lindner Strand hotel is not an exception. While we were here during Corona time, we could not use any facilities of the hotel. The pool was closed even as the gym. The rooms are very simple. I had two single beds, the bathroom had a simple shower and the decoration of the rooms are a bit low budget. The noise from my neighbour above was not nice. The wooden floor has no insulation and is very noisy when somebody is walking around. The breakfast is ok, free coffee at the entrance is very nice. Also the location nearby the beach is good. The staff is not very friendly but ok. Paying more than 300 euro per night is totally rediculous.... but that seems to be normal at Sylt.
