Wuppertal Hotels with Breakfast

Excellent location close to buses and trains. Excellent breakfast. Cleaning service below average. Due to sustainable cleaning policy rooms are cleaned upon request (not every two days as they say) it means that you run out of shower gel (we had to ask at the reception), towel (had to phone reception) and toilet paper! When they clean it is not accurate (one bed was made and the other not). There is no phone in the rooms and airdryer is a toy (stops every minute) We asked for a real air dryer and they didn’t have it (how come?? What do they do if your hairdryer breaks down? Leave you with wet hair?) but carefully explained how the hairdryer works (what?)

We stayed here one night as we wanted to visit Wuppertal to go on the suspended railway. The hotel is ideally situated just 2 minutes walk from Landgerich station. The hotel is extremely clean & bright. We had a triple room which was extremely spacious. There was plenty of hanging space. The bathroom was a reasonable size & there were plenty of towels & toiletries. Checkout is 12pm. There’s a free car park, this isn’t huge so just be aware of this, we didn’t arrive until after 8pm & managed to find a space. There are a number of electric charging points in the carpark for those needing them. We were able to leave the car in the car park all day whilst we used the suspended railway. Just a note for those using Landgerich station, the ticket machine at the bottom of the stairs only took coins, not notes or cards, but if you go up to the platform there is another machine which does take cards. It was all very easy to use.

Great hotel, centraly located, very nice clean rooms, complimentary coffee tea in the room, friendly helpful employees. Only anoying experience is, that the check in procedures takes soo long, compared to other institutions. About 10 Minutes. It has been the second time I have booked this hotel through Trip.com and check-in takes ages. My observation what took so long were following: -Finding my booking in the system, though I have a booking code for both the hotel and Trip.com - Registering your ID/Personal info, where 90% is already provided through the booking procedures on Trip.com - Registering partner guest, asking for their ID, Name, address, etc... In other Hotels/ Guesthouses)Hostels) the ID and Info of thr booking / paying guest is sufficiant - Re-filling your info manually in a hotel policy agreement sheet (3rd time asking for one's information in the process Booking, Check-in Arrival, Hotel Policy rules Agreement) - Getting ask the question if we have booked with or without breakfast. It's written in the booking and cinfirmation note. Any immigration boarder crossing at airports and land entry even during Covid time is faster Please optimize this process for a better guest experience and all is excellent!

All in all cruel! The first problem occurred when check-in. Our room was not reserved. However, we could book on site on multiple request only at the daily price. The room was modern but it offers almost no room! The carpet was in bad condition, it would be flattened. The double bed was equipped with only one bed deck. Even upon request, at the manager, we have not received a second ceiling. This was not for guests ..... With the manger, the untied shower cabin was noted in the same way. Due to the disgust, the whole bathroom was underwater after the shower. This was noted. With breakfast .... very small selection. There was no rhetoric, fish, bacon or similar. From 8 a.m. the term buffet was too much said. Croissants, sweet particles, fruit salad or fresh fruit and homigue were out of there, and was no longer filled. Tomates were filled, but we were noticed that there were fungi on the tomatoes. When we pointed to the staff, it just said it was not a season for tomatoes!!! Only after an invitation they were exchanged. The sum of deficiencies does not allow a different assessment. NOT RECOMMEND

Good and efficient customer service, 24 hours room service and customer service. Variety type of delicious food at restaurants, very convinence, easy access by train to Cologne expo and exhibition hall. Hair dryer, iron, swimming pool, spa service available. It leave good impression and I will recommend to all my friends and colleagues who are planing holiday and business trip to Cologne, Germany. Stay in Vienna House Easy Wuppertal. Great Ibis hotel with excellent service and a committed team. Family atmosphere. Clean, functional rooms and an excellent breakfast. Nice service at the hotel bar. Unbeatable value for money. Highly recommended. Would happily go back. Welcome drinks for all guests. Unfortunately no welcome treatment. But very friendly service.

We were going to the euros and saw this hotel for £100 per night. In places like cologne they were charging near £300. Right away the price of this place was good. The lady on reception was friendly and told us all the information we would need and explained the night entrance to us very well. We were also promised twin beds in the room and we were given them. The breakfast at €20 pp is a scam so we avoided that as there are plenty to places to eat and drink in the area. The room was basic but it was clean and spacious enough. The beds were comfy and it also has a tv (only German channels but it’s expected really.) The toilet has an adequate shower. They leave free water and glasses in the rooms too. Overall this is a good hotel that does the job for a few nights at a great price during a major tournament. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
