歐洲這麼多年,碰到過最無禮和最不作為的前台了,為美麗的城市和酒店添堵。很奇怪這麼差的前台服務(不止一人),酒店老闆竟然還會留用。不會再來住了,失望至極

We stayed over the Valentine's weekend and enjoyed the apprentice weekend. Great food, great atmosphere, great event as kitchen party organised by the apprentices. Super value for money. Service was awesome and hopefully a good experience for all trainees of the hotel. Admirable concept and worth supporting as the industry needs such great aspiring professionals. Well done team Steinburg, we'll be back.

Nice stay with nice swimming pool and Great terrace to have breakfast on. Checking in a little bit earlier was no problem.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view on Würzburg. Unfortunately the amenities and service are not what you would expect for such hotel. It starts with the hotel check-in, starting officially at 15. We were refused access to the room at 14:25, not because the room was not ready but because it was not 15:00 yet. I never experienced that anywhere else, especially not in a 4 stars hotel. Since we had to wait for half an hour, we sat at the café and ordered two cocktails. The terrasse is really beautiful. But for 10€ each our drinks were mainly ice with not much to drink. The waiters were nice but most of them seem lacking experience and everything took a really long time. Upon check-in we were also told that breakfast was until 10:30 latest and that we had to be done by 11 very latest as people were coming then for the Sunday brunch. Some stuff was already installed for the brunch in the middle of the breakfast and it made us feel we had to rush. The room itself was really nice except for the TV which had the size of a laptop screen and really bad quality. At least 15 years old. There was also mold in the shower. Overall a nice place but it needs some upgrading. Also for a 4 stars hotel there should be a better attention to the client. Currently definitely not worth the price.

Our gourmet brunch takes place once a month and starts at 11:30 am. Our service team has to use the time during breakfast to make certain preparations. We're sorry, if this made you feel rushed, but we can't see any fault on our part. Concerning your note about the shower, we have forwarded it to our housekeeping team, that does not meet our standards in any way. As our head of reception already apologized to you at checkout with a small gift, we very much hope that you will give us another chance to convince you of our achievements and the often praised service. Fantastic if you go for the premium rooms in the newer part of the hotel. Make sure to get a room with a spectacular view of the valley. Excellent breakfeast and fantastic views from the terrace. Highly recommended.

We were very excited to go to this hotel as the first stop on the way to our holiday- destination. After a 5-hour trip we arrived finally at the hotel. The welcome was not at all how we imagined. We alao walked 5 times up and down the stairs to find only spaces preserved for staff, not one room to have a drink. When we asked the reception lady of we could order something to drink, we got the dry comment that there was a minibar in our room. The beautiful terrace was closed but we saw the staff enjoying their meal on it. Very disturbing. The servive in tje restaurant was better. But this hotel is definitly not worth the money.

My wife and I were very much looking forward to our stay at the Schlosshotel Steinburg, as it came highly recommended by our friends who had stayed there previously. But our stay started off poorly from the check-in. The person at the front desk was absolutely rude and unhelpful. From the moment we walked up to the desk, there was no greeting. Just a "yes?" I commented that the GPS had brought us through an interesting path and if that was correct. And she replied, "well you are here so it must be." And it just kept going. I told her that it was our first time there and ask if she could tell me a little about the property and she told me that there was a QR code in the room that has all the information. That was just the check-in. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff did not seem to want to be there or had any intentions of making our stay welcoming. Never an offer to help with bags or any assistance familiarizing us with the property. I inquired about their spa facilities and again was referred to the QR code in the room. Also, I thought it was odd that when I called the front desk for an iron, I was informed that they did not provide one but they would iron for me. I thought this was nice but upon check-out, there was an ironing charge. It was not an outrageous amount but either provide an iron, like most hotels, or inform the customer of the charge. It just further reinforced my opinion that I was troubling them. But the meal we had at the restaurant was very good and our server was very professional and his wine selections were perfect. Would I go back? Probably not.

The hotel is located beautifully in the wine mountains. having breakfast or ding on the outside terrace, with a few on the river and city of Würzburg is a terrific experience. The hotel itself has come into the years. The rooms and bathrooms are relatively old. Also there's a lot of outside noise from people sitting on their balconies. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to enjoy the wellness facilities. Breakfast was good. The dining was excellent, but till 2030 there are no other options as to have a dining menu.

It is a wonderful place to stay with amazing views and breakfasts. The course dinners are delicious and serve things you may not try on your own, but will now! The staff was helpful and friendly. The pool is refreshing and clean. The vineyards are fun to walk in. The only missing element is air conditioning. It's a castle! They provided fans. It is a must if staying in Wuerzburg!

We recently had our daughter's wedding here. The hotel is lovely with amazing views of the city, river and vineyards. The staff is committed to excellent service. We arranged a meet and greet just a few days before the wedding on the Wine Terrace. The staff pulled it off without a hitch. For the wedding we had the terrace area, the Knight's Hall, and the Cellar area. Everything was absolutely beautiful. The food was wonderful as was the wines. The only hiccup was that as the parents of the bride we expected a room with a view, which was given to another guest. Unfortunately there was no ability to change as the hotel was full.

I really enjoyed my stay. The food was amazing and the pool and sauna were also great. The room was very tidy and excellent size. Highly recommended all around. The staff were friendly and helpful. The views were excellent as well.

We arrived Saturday evening and I must say that the welcome we got from the reception was less than warm. The two staff members in the reception were very preoccupied in a dialogue and did not recognize our arrival for more than five minutes we just looked at them and no response. When they acknowledged our presence it was with a feeling that we were indeed an unwelcome disturbance. But we managed to get checked in but with very little info on the big place which we hadn’t visited before. We asked for the possibility of food and we’re told that we could get room service but we would have to go up to the restaurant and check because he wasn’t in the loop? We felt frustrated and so unwelcome that we checked for the possibility of canceling our stay and finding somewhere else. Unfortunately that was not possible. The room was nice but it should be at 300 EUR the terrace where we had breakfast was very nice and view was great. But all in all we couldn’t shake the really bad experience we had when arriving.

The two employees at the reception desk are new staff members, so maybe they discussed how to handle some questions about organization. Concerning not being in the loop within restaurant reservations, we can tell you that sometimes, there are short-term changes in our restaurant area (guests having reserved, but do not come, guests who have already left their table after finishing their menu,...). So even if the information of the receptionist is as actual as possible: it is always better to contact our service staff directly. Dear guest, please be assured that we did not want to upset you!
