A great way to get away from the city and experience the charm of an ancient village surrounded by breathtaking landscape. The room gives you an opportunity to be secluded and to have a balcony all to yourself. Thanks to the staff for their help and patience.

The hotel rooms are actually split among many of the buildings around Huangling. Despite looking like an old building on the outside, the inside was furnished like a modern hotel room. Check-in is at the lower cable car station. There's a shuttle service that picks you up from the upper cable car station and takes you to the hotel reception area. From there you'll walk to your room, wherever it happens to be. Breakfast buffet was Chinese-style with multiple options.

Generally, I have a mixed feelings for this property. For the price point, I was expecting the cleanliness to be better. The bathroom had a musty smell. The amenities looked a little worn. Nevertheless, the people at the property and the housekeeper were really friendly and helpful. The location of the place was great. It’s smacked on top of the mountains overlooking the slopes of cascading houses with autumn harvests. The breakfast is good.

Huangling Scenic Area is worthy of being one of the top scenic spots for tourism in Jiangxi. The scenery, products, and services are all great. Because it was the peak season of summer, we had just arrived at the front desk to book a room and it had not been cleaned up yet. The female manager at the front desk was very flexible in dealing with customers like us who were with children and did not want to wait for a long time. Because we were traveling from the north to the south and it was unbearable hot, the female manager coordinated to change us to a second-floor single-family room of a similar room type. If you can't find the way later, you can meet service staff in any scenic spot. No matter whether you are male or female, young or old, they are very enthusiastic and patient to provide answers. It feels really good. I have the opportunity to experience it again in a different season.

The adult ticket is a package that must include tickets and cableway, and cannot be split. We drove up the mountain and never took the cableway.)
