Upon check in, Manager Andy was at the reception and offered an upgrade when he saw that I was with my eighty years old mother and children. He was amazingly polite and I truly appreciated his effort to make our stay as comfortable as can be. The hotel is amongst the best in the region and I was given a room with sea view. Highly recommend this hotel to those who love a great view and impeccable service.

Very close to metro station. Easy to go to popular attractions. Nice hotel and friendly staff. The room is spacious. However, we could smell cigarettes even smoking is not prohibited. We also have plumbing issue for our toilet, but it’s fixed quickly.

The hotel’s staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel manager,Vincent was patiently listened and solved our questions. My husband and I stayed at the seventh floor and they’ve provided afternoon tea for the executive floor members. The executive lounge was super clean,quiet and comfortable. We really enjoyed the afternoon tea. The service go down! Please teach the staff how to use a suitcase with 2 rolls, they can't use it! Please teach the staff of the restaurant to take the people first who come first and not let them wait! Please teach the staff, when they say : yes, I will take a coffee for you. Also to do it and not let the people wait at the breakfast! One point more, the Paulaner restaurant open at 17:30 and not at 17:00 like you write it in your later. I have to wait 30 min for this!

The location is not near SM City, as the name implied. Nevertheless, there are lots of food eateries nearby at local prices. The room is comfortable enough and reception service is good. They should have a doorman as some inconsiderate drivers park at main entrance and block everybody off. It happened twice in my 4 days stay there. I requested for a non-smoking room, it was located at level 2. But there is a big hall there with events and smokers are smoking there as there are ash trays provided. This should have been better managed as the smoke travel to the entire floor.

18/12/24 -22/12/24, we stayed 4 nights at Swiss Grand hotel Xiamen, breakfast was delicious and plenty of choices 👍, rooms are clean, housekeeping is great 😊, the only set back is the aircon system, not adjustable, very cold setting for winter weather, asked house keeper to adjust but failed, end up with additional heater in our room 😥😥😥otherwise it would be a perfectly good hotel to stay.

While the hotel may not be that fanciful, the staff service more than made up for it. Was surprised to see that the double beds in the room I originally booked was too small, and I requested if we could change. Louis (陈俊鹏) at the front desk promptly attended to my request and we were given a free upgrade to a bigger room after he spoke with his manager. The housekeeping lady was also nice and helpful to help set up the room on short notice

This is my second stay at Hualuxe Xiamen. My entire family loved this hotel, the room is immaculate, the staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. The view is wonderful. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool the most. The food in the Chinese restaurant on the second floor is highly recommended. We will definitely visit again!

The hotel is located in a very good neighborhood and it’s easy to get around the city. The hotel stuff are very nice and welcoming. They gave us a free upgrade. I would definitely recommend it if you’re planning to stay in Xiamen.

This hotel was fantastic, especially for the price. We were here in the off-season and I'm not sure what the normal price is, but we paid almost 1/3 of the price for a hotel of equivalent quantity just last week in Shanghai. The breakfast buffet was great, they have lots of options and have chefs preparing noodle and congee bowls on request. I highly recommend the Japanese restaurant here as well, some of the best meals we had were there. The pictures did not show it, but our room also included a large bathtub which was a big plus. We were working while we were here and there were plenty of comfortable places to work. My only complaint is that they allow smoking in the lobby and in rooms close to ours; this seems to be the case in other places we've stayed in China, but was difficult coming from the USA
